The Bayern Munich Blueprint: Mastering the Business of Football
Video Overview & Insights
Bayern Munich has just done the unthinkable—they’ve officially crossed €1 BILLION in revenue, joining Real Madrid as the only clubs in history to achieve this. But here’s the crazy part: Bayern did it without a billionaire owner, without state-backed oil money, and with ZERO debt. While clubs like Manchester City, PSG, and Barcelona rely on external funding or massive debt, Bayern is completely self-sustainable. So how did they pull this off? Welcome to The Bayern Munich Blueprint—a masterclass in football and business.

Bayern has smart owner
@ViniHeadBallMeanwhile 3 different clubs from La Liga were playing the UCL finals (14 winners), 4 different were playing in the Europa league finals (11 winners)... without billionare owners in the last 3 decades. Bundesliga is now completely dependent on the Bayern in the UEFA competitions, with some exception such as Eintracht. Borussia in now largely perceived as the development club. As the things standing now Bundesliga is getting closer to Ligue 1 model (1 giant club and 17 feeder clubs).
@haristaletovic2703I disagree on something: Yes Bayern have a good academy but their real academy is borusia Dortmund and the rest of the bundesliga, they keep getting all the best talent at a'relatively low cost" because nobody can outspend them in Germany, and when it comes to coaching literally any amateur can win at Bayern that includes Vincent kompany
@kstephen88694The topic of the video is good but and also the massage but there is zero explanation why they are so successful it’s just phrases again and again wtf
@Kretipleti1116ULI HOENESS IS JUST THE GOAT
@DiscStockiableBayern always buy the best player from rival clubs....imagine Bayern were in EPL..
@MohdIqmal-hn9uwNot Dreesen is the Boss. He is the CEO wich means nothing at Bayern 😄 In reality its still Uli Hoeneß with Rummenigge and Herbert Hainer, the Presindent. If they want, they can sack Dreesen at any time. Just like they did with Oliver Kahn.
@Sammy-mz3riHad to stop watching with all the sniping at other clubs about their own finance models. Bayern plunder the Bundesliga for the best players in other sides. 50+1 keeps it that way because the other BL clubs have much smaller supporter bases and therefore cannot match Bayern's financial power at home. The result is a league dominated by one mega club for half a century now. That is nothing to be celebrated.
@kodiak64Thta is because there is no such big competition in bundesliga
@pachetinapesyt831What will Bayern be without the big companies that owns Bayern? Clubs like Real and Barca dont owners have owners like Bayern. A club like Barca produces so much to the local community and return it with respect. If Bayern just get hurt a little they just buy their players to take out any competition.
@Imtygaminggood video, you could have also mention 2023 bayern were best shirt seller and 2024 second best shirt seller after Real. Bayern currently have problems with Salary balance, players like Gnabry, Sane, Coman and Boey faces to get sold in summer, bayern will also lower players wages which has been cleared since Kimmich didn't get increased salary and Goretzka will renew with lower wage. Bayern were lucky that England signed Tuchel, so they don't pay him every week no more. Bayern so far is very good with 1st place in the league, Quarter final against Inter in UCL and then playing Club world cup in summer which will increase the clubs value so much.
@STL_EBT63rdI actually like your video but I have to correct it a little, not everything went as great as it says in your video. After 18/19 the years-long club leadership resigned and the new club leadership took over, there was the sextrupel in the first year, but after that a lot went wrong. It was missed the squad after great success of the recent club history was properly adapted. Players who have achieved everything at Bayern have had the contracts extended for too much money and the most important players have never been replaced equally (Alaba, Boateng and Thiago). The successful coach Hansi Flick was scared away by the new club management and the same was done with Julian Nagelsman and was replaced with a coach who does not fit the profile of a Bayern coach. 80 million were paid only for coaches in 4 years and players earn 15 to 20 million a year and are often injured and do not perform and have been doing so for years. Therefore, the club has to save money at the moment so as not to go into debt
@nicostraub8210The best Club in the world with 400.000 members
@nicostraub8210What do you mean by imagine if Barcelona had that many members instead of screaming Messi on tweeter? We have 150k to 170k socios and Barcelona charge 219 Euros per year which is expensive plus fully owning stadium? Their stadium is called Allianz Arena named after a company
@kumarjeetchakraborty9097they did sell portions of the club though, to Alliens and Adidas. So as much as you look down on Barca and Madrid, at least they are 100% fan owned
@ZiphoSamwhy ai bro
@hqbasti8685I don't know why they used madrid like they in the same problems like barça and milan
@PabzrZERO information , you just repeated a sentence again and again
@sam.na57:10 "Will Bayern Munich continue to dominate football" 🤡🤡
Your small club barely convinced Kimmich and Davies to stay at the club after a massive increase in their salaries 😒
Madrid dominates the football world, not Bayern Munich 😒
Popularity, success, revenue. in all things Madrid is bigger than Bayern 😮💨
What a BS
This video is somehow trying to show Bayern is bigger than Real Madrid
But that's not the case kids, Madrid is still much bigger than Bayern
If Bayern was really this big then players like Mbappe and Trent would have joined Bayern not Real Madrid
It's been quite interesting that Bayern has been releasing these shady finance numbers for the last 3-4 years 🤡
Their revenue jumped from 750 million to 1 billion in 1 year, that's too shady 😒
Bayern don't have commerical revenue like EPL teams and don't have popularity like Madrid and Barca
So, where this sudden increase of revenue??
Maybe they found an oil deposit under their stadium 🙃
Champions league winners 2025
@diegoivanriosperez121Bayern has already surpassed 400,000 club memberships.
@bholey0We don't want any oligarch. Zero debt is a great advantage. Fan based club is what fosters the spirit of the game in the build-up of true sportsmanship. ❤❤❤
