So this is not really a crash course, just a 5% taster of the course that you provide on Udmey for a fee, right. Only you haven't advertised it like that. Clickbait thumbnail.

Just passed my Security+ with this Crash Course and practice questions from CompTIA's exam cram book. If you have previous IT experience and passed A+ and Net+, this should be enough.

Hello Francios B Arthanas, i subscribed (paid) to your training platform on UDEMY, unfortunately i can not access the training platform on UDEMY. The YOUTUBE is NOT functioning. I shall appreciate your assistance to either refund or resolve the problem with the inaccessibility

25:19 Please do not use rot13 in a production system. It's a fine demonstration, but it is not secure, and you will probably get hacked. Use AES and other standard cryptographic primitives.

Nice to see practical examples tied to real exam topics instead of just listing concepts, that really helped me understand where the tricky parts might be. Going through this video and then reviewing Cert Empire study sets helped me feel more confident about Security+ prep.

@EmmaCartoz01
@

Where is the complete course??? This cover only the 5% of the domains

@cyberghost_01
@

But this crasi course cover the 10% of the exam objectives!

@cyberghost_01
@

This crash course gives a clear look at what you need for the SY0-701 domains and how things like the CIA triad and zero trust fit into the bigger picture. I’ve paired it with some Cert Empire practice questions, honestly feels like a useful way to reinforce the concepts instead of just memorizing.

Hey folks…not to beat a dead horse…but…to drive a point home…in reference to acronyms…for sh@ts a giggles…I researched Google for what is “A.I.T.” …and…GOOGLE…said…A.I.T. is…Advanced Individual Training…However…our instructor…named the blog training A.I.T. as well…where as the meaning on this blog…means/stands for…Afrikana Institute of Technology… …and to my earlier point/reply…even Google did not know what AIT was…simply because…Google did not have the background/foundational information…to know what the acronym was referring/referencing to…

@erenstlawyer7773
@

I am attempting to enter this field…after 20 plus years in Law Enforcement…and…as I have been actively acquiring the academics of cybersecurity…I find it a bit challenging…do to all the…ACRONYMS…there seems to a acronym for everything…and…I get the functionality of acronyms…which is to shorten the communications between two parties…within the same field of work/field/employment…HOWEVER…when teaching/instructing a layperson…one needs to first know WHAT THE ACRONYM MEANS…before they are introduced to the acronym…in the absence of the background information of the acronym…leaves folks…who are not in the know…not knowing…

Example: (Only non-law enforcement are to attempt to answer)

What does R.T.F mean…
What is a 75-48
What is a C-75-48
What is a 5292

…and…believe it or not…in just these four examples…not even some law enforcement folks can not give a response/answer…do to…these acronyms are subject to each department’s terms and jargon… …that is why folks…by the omission of the narrator…did know what C.I.A. meant…when pertaining to Cybersecurity…
Just a Suggestion…when teaching any material…teach it as if…this is the very first time…your audience has ever heard it…it will cut down on confusion…and…wasted time…having to take time away from the teaching a lesson…to research…what a acronym means/stands for.

@erenstlawyer7773

Very useful thanks but all these Comptia certificates are just best practice and non-technical...what are the best technical certs?..thanks!

You need more recognition! You made it so easy to understand and comprehend. Greatly appreciated 💪🏾

Thank you, bro, for going into depth and giving some insight into the history. You make it easy to follow along, the concepts are clear and understandable. I am new to IT, and my MOS is a 25B in the Army (information tech. specialist). I hope I pass this when I decide to take the test in a few months.

@HiNu7

It’s worth watching for an overall understanding of cybersecurity as far as the security +. However certainly take practice exams, and preferably study other videos/courses as well. You cannot pass the security + with this crash course alone and you will quickly realize that once you take a practice exam. But taking this first before studying elsewhere could help you understand your study better and organize everything a bit better. The security + requires you understand a lot of different definitions that this course does not cover at all.

@saltymoonfishing

This crash course isn't going to help much. Look to Messer's playlist and check what Comptia says the test is about online. Comptia gives you a list of acronyms. I just passed btw
