I saw the trailer and I said, King Caspian (Ben Barnes is always King Caspian when he has a beard, to me.), count me in. So, the basic plot line is King Caspian is a security guard and the institute (in other words the Rainbow room)is trying to make a bunch of Elevens.

They want to capitalize on the success of Stranger Things, but they can't touch the IP, so they decided to focus solely on what happens at the "Institute". What an original idea...X-men meets Stranger Things meets The Boys with a sprinkle of Umbrella Academy. The bar to become a writer in Hollywood is used to play Limbo.

I was reading the book and wanted to see what the series look like, but as usual, trailers really suck...

I was at page 400+ and the trailer shows important stuff that happened at page 550... On 600 total pages.
Literally the end of the story is spoiled here. Wtf.

Ben Barnes made the best result possible, out of the material that he was given and he was the best part about this show, but goddamn I didn't make it past episode 4. They could have cut out half of the scenes, for the pacing is excruciatingly slow.

I'm loving the cinematography! Episode 2 in the gas station they actually used the light from the sunset in scene and made the gas station seem alive instead of a movie set. I don't think I've ever seen an indoor scene where the direct sunlight is not blocked.
