9:35 - Well Mark Messier was at that game not commited to retire from playing hockey. He was set to continue playing, however the infamous 2004-2005 NHL lockout eliminated the next season, so on September 12, 2005, Mark Messier announced his retirement on ESPN radio.

It’s unfortunate that AI is becoming the norm. No originality, no character, no emotion. It is like listening to a student reading their first term paper out loud. All of a sudden a person that has never even seen a hockey game is an authority on the sport.
