This era does not know what legend means. Roy is good, but he ain’t no legend. Legend of what?
@shinobu37The 🐐 ✨
@Beezoff10hunnitBRoy was clutch af. Hof type player for sure!!
@whome1636Roy was a monster
@FergieFerguson-x6nI have been watching basketball for almost 20 years, if Roy, Aldridge, and Oden all stayed healthy they would have won a chip for sure
@idipped2521Being from Portland and going to games, we thought it was a fever dream. But those knees kept him and Oden from ever becoming what we all knew they would. Multi time champs.
@AnimosityXLIf B-Roy and DRose never got injured, I think the 3-pt revolution would come much later
@AlvicciiI can't remember the last video that nonstop did on a player who was super injury prone but, Brandon Roy seems to be another one of those players who had so much basketball iq and skill but, so little luck. after watching this video, all I can say is if he had just sat out for a year following one of his surgeries what would have become of him, would he be in the conversation for hall of fame?
@GooberDoober-fm4wsCertified bucket
@PrezknowsDamn man.. makes me appreciate this legend even more
@BenjiClips614One of my idols in clutch. BRoy7
@ekienlandrito7545Why was his doctors keep removing pieces of his knees
@tradontiusdaniel7531I somewhat feel like it is honor to be on the list of "what-ifs" because most of the players on this list are pound for pound one of the greatest players the NBA has ever seen, but injuries robbed them of realizing that potential fully.
It's almost like "you are too good relative to others, so here, take an injury".
The sat is not a pass/fail test. You just get a score and schools decide if they want you.
@cw5948G.hill, d.rose, and B.roy. 3 of them what ifs
@SubZer00fucksgiven11:52
Celtics Shaq spotted.
Can you do a video on MONTA ELLIS
@23ShotsLikeMichaelJordanHere we go again with "dominated". Brandon Roy didn't dominate shit. People need to comprehend what "dominate" means.
@RadiantValkyrieHe avg 19 points relax! the most he ever avg was 22.6. Kobe said T Mac was the best he played against
@guitarlearningtoplayPortland has a history of picking players, that get hurt way too soon. Look what happened to Bill Walton, Sam Bowie, Greg Oden, and Brandon Roy.
@jmckdekalb316YO! THIS DUDE WAS AMAZING!!!🎉. I remember playing nba live I think with five of my boys I pulled off the greatest dunk I've ever seen, real life or video game with Brandon Roy!! He was one of those once in a lifetime players.
@stephblurry5002B-Roy had the Charisma, the clutch gene and the killer mentality. One of my favorite SG's from that era.
@Damon_BishopYou know for a fact that he cheated on his SAT
@rkim1991Do how good were the grit and grind grizzlies actually
@robertscherer9396I feel like Portland is constantly cursed with getting amazing players that deal with injuries. Think about how much different the Blazers would be if so many guys they drafted were healthy…
Bill Walton
Brandon Roy
Greg Oden
Hell… even Sam Bowie
Prime B Roy is better than T Mac. Cold ass killer! Such a bad bad man!!!
@hansaldrinmy idol b.roy 7
@ericksonaugustine7565Man heartbreaking. I remember using him in 2K a few times. He was unstoppable.
@whoaitstuHim dame odem lamarcus would’ve got at least 2 rings
@will_deejay3515Build a team consisting all "What If" players that ever stepped in the NBA and on a healthy form. They'll probably smoke the '92 Dream Team and '08 Redeem Team, don't they?
@zkalbz6815So sad. I saw him play against my older brother in high school, and he was an absolute problem on the court. I knew, when I saw him dominate in high school, that he would make it to the NBA, sad he had to retire so damn early!!! He was pretty much the Derrick Rose before Rose came about!!!
@brandonfinch881B-Roy, D-Rose, Penny, Grant, Bill, Yao, Oden, T-Mac - injuries robbed the world from witnessing their truest potential
@JoeInTheElementb roy is a p town god the man was just cluch
@cheftekniqakabuletteborn81272001 "RIP The Cut Tournament" in Seattle Washington, I Dunked off against Brandon Roy and Nate Robinson (Jamal Crawford) was one of the judges for it but in the tournament itself they all played on Team Rainier Beach. It was Nate and I in the final and he beat me by one point (only because I missed my final dunk attempt) They all went NBA I didn't but was athletic on the same level as Brandon and Nate......Just some food for thought imagine if Brandon and Damian Lillard played at Portland together 😮😮😮😮
@SaluteMeorShootMe-b5rA healthy Roy and Oden are scary.. could be one of the greatest duo ever..
@WeakBoy4666I was rooting for Brandon Roy. Thank you for giving him a spotlight.
@poquo6882Weak knees he needed milk 🍼
@willf9450I've been waiting for this for years
@KaichingYueng05:24 best line in the video
@kingserafoiThe Portland Trail Blazers did get his replacement in Dame Lilard in the 2012 NBA Draft
@AMMendez-vf1uiOne of the best ever
@PraiseG423How many times u gonna change the thumbnail😂
@treypaige2985Man them Brandon Roy and lamarcus days was so good and pure I miss it b Roy was a beast😭💯
@BIGLAWNDALECHIEFWatching BRoy play, you would think he looked so at ease and it all look so easy to play in that level. He was just so good at playing 🏀.
@Daofro0Another what if Superstar😢
@rjalforque4764As a die hard Lakers fan I hated the Lakers playing against them at Portland... Like we literally couldn't win there. B roy was a killer, my 2nd favorite player of that era behind Kobe. Quiet, smooth, all around great player but injuries ruined him
