I have searched a lot of videos about the Notion. All youtubers say, " Create this and that and done," no one says, "What is this? How does it work?. I thought it's quite hard until I found your videos. I totally understand how Notion works. And I even create my own headquarters🎉 just like yours. I'm so grateful for you❤. You deserve more subscribers😢. Keep going 💪

But with no prior experience using Notion, it only left me more frustrated, disorganized, and confused. Everything mentioned in this video felt like a reflection of my struggles over the past week. The video is good, but the wobbly effect is so distracting and makes everything hard to read. For the next time, please don't use that effect 😭

In terms of productivity what you explained makes perfect sense.

Also I see why kanban boards is so powerful for professionals (certainly not so much to students) as it also simplifies remaining micromanagement thing.

Man thank you. I had been looking for how to use and organise databases in an actually functional and relatable way for aaages! I've watched and half watched so many many vids that always make it far too complicated and I get overwhelmed. Clicked on the clickbaity title for shits and giggles - and somehow this was is the most useful notion tutorial i've seen to date... No BS, Straightforward & functional. Perfect for the adhders out there who get easily distracted. Would love to see an update vid incorporating/utilising the new Notion Calendar app too!

Or you could just use Trello or Todoist and not waste your time with Notion?

Tell me if I'm wrong. I just see Notion as being cool for people who like to build systems, but I don't see how that system ends up being that the tools already out there. Personally, I also prefer using different apps for different needs:

Evernote - note-taking
Trello - project management
Google Tasks - basic todo lists
Google Calendar - calendar

I like where this video is going topic-wise, but I wish the music was lower in volume, I personally find the music after 6:30 a bit distracting as it goes from being smoother to being a bit "punchy." Not sure how else to describe it. So right when I'm really trying to concentrate on what's being said, I feel like someone's knocking on the door (figuratively speaking) and I have to ignore the knocking and focus harder. That said, I have definitely struggled with understanding how to relate databases in Notion before, and this video has helped me.

Your take on Notion spot on! You're ability to execute a good video on it horrible. That musici mix is atrocious too loud way too loud.

Excellent database description-especially within the context of managing tasks and project without adding more mental clutter. I've been suffering from the malady you lay out in the beginning--Todo-itis, basically. I came here looking for a way to use the database features in Notion to calm that down a few notches. You've got me heading in the right direction.
And I love the temp/pace of how you go through it. One of my challenges with others' videos on Notion is the caffeinated way in which they blaze through their settings. That, combined with their assumptions about prior knowledge on Notion, can make it very difficult to keep up with them sometimes and actually get something actionable out of their explanations. This video was particularly well done in those two ways. Really helpful.
