The Most Delicious French Chicken Recipe I Make Every Weekend! Easy and So Delicious Recipe!

Ummm hmmm. It's all about the chicken!

— @olewetdog6254

There’s something magical about French cooking 🥰 how a few simple ingredients come together to create something unbelievably rich, comforting, and full of flavor. This Poule à la Moutarde (or French chicken in mustard sauce) is just that. It’s creamy, tangy, and so ridiculously good that you’ll want to soak up every last drop of sauce with a piece of crusty bread 😋

This is one of those no-fuss, homey dishes that feels fancy but is actually so easy to make. The chicken turns very tender, the sauce is silky with just the right balance of cream and Dijon mustard, and the whole thing comes together in one pan. Serve it with mashed potatoes, rice, or even just a big spoon - because trust me, you won’t want to waste a drop.

Wahnsinn super Rezept Danke für das Teilen 👍 Top Köchin

Instead of the music video, I wish that you would have talked and described what, when, how, etc.
I think that an audio description is not only more descriptive, but it helps to 'burn' the dish into memory.
Opinion aside, Great Recipe! Thank You.

Can I suggest (esp for anyone with an AGA) that baking the potatoes, scraping the flesh from the skins, and then mashing (with choice of butter/cream/cream cheese/chives etc) makes much better mash than by boiling them.

What can you substitute for wine? We are living on a fixed income we don't buy it.

isn't the sauce very thin?
The general recipe and ingredients for your poulet a la moutarde seems fine, but why not add a roux or a cornstarch slurry to thicken it before adding cream?

As a chef and cooking teacher I find her videos very professional with good knife skills. Relaxing as well. I have made this mustard chicken a zillion times before seeing this video as it’s a classic French recipe but I enjoyed watching it nonetheless.
