@IamLee4YouI watched this back when, taped it on vhs, too. I had no understanding at 20 that I had been born into an age of musical genius that would pass into history within 30 years. Now... now I'm just grateful I was there for it.
@RS-nf4vzThis was such a brilliant concert - I remember watching it when it was broadcast on TV, I was 14. Might've been live not sure. Big Country were a great opener - Tony Butlers bass is rumbling so good! Good days, only a year after Live Aid so we were hungry for more of the same. One forgets just how funky those IoW boys Level 42 were, it never translated well onto record whereas live they were a different prospect altogether!

@sinephaseA time when music was music, not production, and the musicians we watched played instruments live. Musicians from various bands, the top of the scene at the time, could stand on stage and play together—and how! Today, that's practically unattainable.
