The Process of Removing 10KG of Fat in 12 WEEKS | Science-Based Diet & Workout Routine
Video Overview & Insights
Two girls. Same starting weight. Same age. Same goal: lose 10kg of fat in 12 weeks. But the results?
Hey Fam! First off, THANK YOU for all the love on this video!
I want to quickly clarify something important:
I mentioned that your body "holds onto fat more" when you eat too little for too long. I may have oversimplified things a bit.
Here’s the real deal:
When you're in a Prolonged Calorie Deficit, Your body adapts to use less energy
1. Since you weigh less, your maintenance calories naturally go down.
2. After a severe diet, your body eventually starts breaking down both fat and muscle tissue.
Losing muscle also slows down your metabolism (and rebuilding it takes serious time and effort).
3. Hormonal changes occur: you get hungrier & feel less full..
👉 This is called Metabolic Adaptation, and it's why weight loss plateaus.
So make sure you guys:
1. Aim for about a 20–25% calorie deficit (roughly 500–750 calories/day is ideal)
Very large deficits (>1,000 calories/day) increase the risk of muscle loss and slow down your metabolism, making fat loss harder to sustain.
2. To avoid muscle loss, make sure you're eating enough protein (ideally 1.6g+ per kg of body weight) and doing strength training.
3. To clarify the Reverse Dieting:
Metabolic adaptation works both ways.
When you increase your calories after a period of restriction, your metabolism can adapt upward as well (The increase should be somewhat gradual to avoid excessive fat gain & the adaptation isn't immediate - it can take time)
So periodic refeeds (1–2 days per week at maintenance calories, often with higher carbs) and Diet breaks (1–2 weeks at maintenance calories after several weeks of deficit) help you
a. reduce the risk of muscle loss
b. gives you a mental break from dieting
by helping you restore hormone levels: leptin and thyroid hormones, which regulate metabolic rate, hunger, and satiety.
So this just makes the entire diet process more sustainable as long as you can use it in a disciplined way.
Everyone’s different (genetics, muscle mass, activity levels), so listen to your body!
Having more muscles is the key to this process. This is why strength training & eating your proteins is so important during both deficit and surplus phases.
Hope this helps! Always learning and sharing what I learn with y'all! 💪

Eating fewer calories than we burn is still essential for weight loss, but hormones, especially "insulin," also strongly influence how easily our body accesses stored fat. Highly processed, sugary foods and constant snacking tend to keep insulin elevated longer, while whole foods and periods of fasting allow insulin to fall to levels that encourage greater reliance on stored fat for energy. The least processed and most natural foods are key: high protein, adequate fiber, healthy fats, and the slowest-digested natural carbohydrates are a solid foundation. Real food, real breaks, real results.

I just love this video. It explains it in such an engaging way, especially for younger generations. People, all you gotta do is follow the advice of the video, this whole video is talking about body recomping. I actually think that most of us intrinsically know that eating way less, like 1200 a day less, and also not eating enough protein and not weight training, will result in the body struggling, cortisol rising, and fat being held on to in case of emergency -- because you're literally signaling to your body that you are in a state of emergency, and in fact, you're putting it into one. It's not a healthy place to be. I think many know this and are too afraid to eat more calories in the form of healthy vegetable fibers, adequate carbs to support intense workouts, and adequate protein to support muscle gain, perhaps because of some subconscious fear or programming?? Here I think of the old 90's and early 2000's obsession weight loss, notice I didn't say 'fat loss and muscle gain' (again see: body recomposition)... I also think about the effort and visibility it takes to build muscle: we can all jog in a park, but when you're doing 5lb curls next to some chick bench pressing 120, you feel a bit small. If you are unsure of how to start weight training, watch videos, ask someone at a gym if you have a membership. Start calisthenics outside. I love it, and prefer it over gym machines because I find it more engaging that way. Find what works for you. You will look 'pathetic' for a while -- but not nearly as pathetic as if you'd stayed on the couch wondering when you'll ever start. Reframe it. "I showed up today because I invest in being strong now and that's where my health and beauty reside." And, three years from now, you could be doing a set of pull-ups followed by a muscle-up at that same park to whoops and cheers. It is empowering. You got this.

@jaynet1539Il be honest i tried alot of things. And with my very busy life, i just dont know how i would start.
My mind is going everywhere as the heat right now here is making me feel unmotivated while i weight around 70 kg.
Il be honest i tough this was really overweight, but i should not complain to much.
Looking at your youtube clip made me almost cry for some reason. Because i tried everything.
I once succeeded on this result by using the products of mealreplacement. But expensive.
I am realising that i am overeating myself. even for the work out.
Not only that, i have homeoffice job and i bearly work out.
So i am wanting to try to so badly. make myself feel positivity again and motivational.
I really hope i can motivate myself and try it again..

@xo_Arii09zformer anorexic here, and I really don’t mean to discourage anyone from eating more because extreme deficits are very dangerous (1200 calories or lower is miserable and non sustainable) but ‘starvation mode’ is a myth, if you are stagnating on your weight loss you’re either eating more calories than you think or you are retaining water briefly and I would check the scale again the next time you have a bowel movement. I cannot stress enough that as long as you are in a deficit you will always be losing weight.
That being said, to anyone reading this there are plenty of other reasons not to do extremely low deficits, believe me it is very unsustainable— and by that I don’t mean it’s just a matter of powering through, I mean even once you lose all the weight that way you will not be able to sustain yourself like that for long, then you will gain the weight back and have several new health problems to accompany it. Trust me, ever since I recovered my body has never been the same, I lost all the muscle mass I had and now just standing straight is difficult for me. constant back and neck pain, its awful, to anyone young person here who thinks this wont effect them I’m just 22 and believe me it’s going to ruin your life if you go the starvation route, you are not built different, you will know pain like you havent before. If I could take it all back I would.
That also being said, it generally annoys me seeing people with a platform online make up stuff about ‘starvation mode’ because its not backed up by any science and is just a scare tactic used against impressionable people. Alot of the time when you try to guilt someone with anorexic tendencies with ‘starvation mode’ they just end up doubling down and eating less cause they’re terrified they’ll gain double the weight now that they’re already set in motion the supposed “starvation mode”. Its just such a dumb concept, I roll my eyes everytime I hear about it
realized i was the samantha she is talking about

@thv353No, It's my fault for trusting that a video will actually help instead of long ass vagye storytelling. God, is it a crime to actually expect the video to be what the title is??? Fucking bullshit.
@disappointmentsanddisgrace1210I’m Samantha
@Nunu-b2qHow come you won’t show your face ?
@foreverdancer30I lost 7 pounds in 3 months and it may seem not much but it’s better than no weight loss. I mostly achieved this because I started to try and view myself as someone that doesn’t overeat. I used to have a binge eating disorder so I was at 58 kg or 128 lb as a 14 year old. Gradually I stopped eating too much but the problem was I was eating too little. I didn’t know how much to eat and I felt as if I would be eating more than I should so I under ate. Please don’t do this, it really can impact you a whole lot negatively on ur physical and mental health. After nearly a year I somewhat recovered from my eating disorder and other mental issues I had that I thought would always be with me. That’s not true at all and over time anyone can become better whether it’s a few months or years. Anyways overall find out what kind of person you wanna be and try to look at yourself in that way. For example I wanted to be a volleyball player so I tried to see what exercises I should do and educate myself on the sport. I’m also into drawing and wanted to be really good so over the years I just tried my best. This goes for various things like jobs, relationships and such. I hope it works for you and please reach out to someone if you need help. It’s hard to go through it alone and get better. Good luck on your weight loss/ health recovery.
@mikuhatsune8609This is my first day, ready to lock in. I will come back every week to update!
