➤ Sony BRAVIA 8 II 65 Inch TV (Reliability Champion): https://geni.us/zkruAx

I just trashed 2 55" Hisense/Roku tvs that died within 2years !! I just bought a new Samsung yesterday, so far so good! Hisense is garbage! Never again💩

It is not true that Samsung TVs are reliable; the failure rate (especially regarding the backlight and power supply) is very high.
The average Samsung TV lasts three years; only a few models are truly 100% reliable.

— @TD-eg7gw

➤ LG OLED evo AI 4K C5 Smart TV (Best Value): https://geni.us/VJUUkU1

I spent a month interviewing TV repair technicians, analyzing warranty claims, and digging through repair forums. The truth? Professionals see failure patterns consumers never do and one of the brands on their "blacklist" might be in your living room right now.

For a "TV repair technician," the worst is the best.)

— @ESmolyak

In this video, we expose the 3 TV brands repairmen tell their own families to avoid at all costs, and the 3 they actually trust. We cover:

✦ The House Brand Trap: Why heavily discounted holiday TVs are designed to die the second their warranty expires.

BS on your Samsung rating. I bought one that did not last 50 hours.
A TV repair person even told me, Samsung used to be the best.
Now they are the worst.

— @futures525

✦ The Warranty Nightmare: The budget brand with a massive 15% failure rate and terrible customer service.

✦ The Technician’s Choice: Why spending a little more upfront on reliable panels saves you hundreds in early replacements.

LG is very good.I have it and it works great.

— @MariRobert1368

👇 Tell me in the comments: What TV brand are you currently using, and how many years has it lasted?

No mention of Vizio? Their budget sets used to be pretty good but have gone to 💩 over time.

У меня советский телевизор "Весна" 1960 года выпуска. Он до сих пор отлично работает спустя 65 лет. Единственный его недостаток - сегодня отсутствует аналоговое телевидение :(

Yep no one paid for this I have Hisense that at times is 12 to 16 hours a day when I don't feel well it's approaching 2 years old soon for under a $130 My best friends his Hisense is almost 14 years old. Tcl my $108 one lasted 3 years and I bet if I took it out of storage, yep very low budget is high brow enough that's why they are very inexpensive

the 46 FHD sony bravia i bought in 2011 still running and never had any issue. with samsung we were utterly unlucky. it broke down a few days before the warrenty expiery. the service was excellent and the tv were repaired within a couple of days. but right after it started to get some odd color shift stains that gradually spread across the screen. this tv is still working but we have another one. it's labled as finlux that used to be a quality finnish brand but it is manufctured by vestel in turkey. so far so good it's working excellent. far longer than the previous samsung.

Well, I had bought my Samsung QNQ7F 65inch QLED TV around 2017 and it has died after 9 years. I had paid $3200CAD at the time because it was their top-of-the-line(last cat's meow) QLED TV and it had a great picture. I would've thought that it should've lasted at least 15 yaers before packing it in! And I've been told by the servicing companies in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that they simply won't even try to fix TV's older than 5 years(they didn't even want to look at it) because contrarily to what you say in your video about Samsung having parts availability and their TV's being repairable, it is not at all the case! And I did the math by dividing $3200 cost of my Samsung TV by 9 years and it cost me just over $355/year. That TV should've really lasted me at least 12 to 15 years before becoming e-waste disposible! I have a Sony CRT TV which has lasted 25 years and is still going strong with a picture as beautiful as when it was bought brand new! In this day and age, I just find that the manufacturers are a bunch of hypocrites in saying that they respect the environment while all along producing products that simply don't last, and end up as e-waste or even in the landfill as a result. All they want to is to make as much money as possible while not giving a damn about the environment. I did my rant because I simply had to get it off my chest! I can tell you that I will never be buying a top-of-the-line Samsung again, that's for damn sure!

Sony is handing over operational control of its TV and home audio division to the Chinese manufacturer TCL. The two companies formed a joint venture called Bravia Inc., in which TCL holds a 51% controlling stake and Sony retains 49%.

A number of years ago my parents bought a TV from one of those cut rate big box store and 5 years later found that is was a Sony that was rebranded as their private label and it cost a little over half if it had the Sony label. Also, it had a longer warranty.

Insignia, Hisense, and TCL. There, I just saved you 14 minutes of your life. You're welcome.

I think its the luck of thr draw
I had TCL beautiful tv had for over 5yrs
Got dust stain between screen just a small spot as it bowed apart
But was used like industry as im pretty chair bound and tv on big hrs and hot climate
Gave to my brother and kids used to play game's on it wasn't bad just i noticed it on white objects
Still going several years later
He had hisense tv that was over 5yrs old so i bought one its now 7yrsold still working and so is my brothers
Yet wehad friends swear by sony bravo and had several all broke with in 3 to 5 yrs and went back for repairs several time as well
The repair company turned down brightness and contrast as was what was destroying the tv was what they said
Now going to change brand of tv and there sony cost double ours we paid just under 2k they where paying 5k a tv for sony
I do run my TV's brightness 56% contrast 50%colour saturation 50% sharpness 32%
I get a pretty realistic picture and due to lower settings seem to get a decent ammount of life out of the TV's
The only issue i have is with the black background like space or night time scenes its a little washed out has a slight whitish hume
But didn't seem to matter changing any settings seem to help other then that TV' has a beautiful picture mini led screen
Also gives a beautiful picture in bright light with little to no reflection as my room full of windows and why i picked this TV'
Ue to brightness of room but is equally asgood at night other then black background and not noticeable on small black items just when large black area's
So i think its a lottery on what you get from any brand

You lost me when you suggested an extended warranty. Most people know these are scams.
Face it: All modern electronics are a crap shoot. I have an Insignia that is going on 8 years. I have friends with the high end brands, that barely made two years. In the end, they are all made overseas and we have no idea of the quality or lack thereof that we are getting.

Was not a cheap TV as the new one I bought on sale was $1999 for 55 inch.

Overall, I really like my 55 inch Samsung QLED tv. The only issue I've been having is that every few days there is no sound when I turn the tv on. I have to unplug it for 60 seconds or so, plug it back in, turn it on again and then I have sound. The only glitch with this tv.
