Tbh, IDK why everyone was so bothered by the accents. I honestly barely noticed them when I first listened to Relapse. I mean I picked up on them obviously but they didn't detract from the music for me. Now, I'm glad he didn't keep doing the accents on every album, but I kind of like how you can tell from hearing any track recorded during that time (e.g. unreleased songs), that it had to have been recorded for the Relapse or Refill sessions. Also, having gone back thru his discography recently, I honestly think Relapse is one of his best albums, in terms of how much replay value it has. So maybe I should say it's one of my favorites, not necessarily what I think is his best work.
Maybe it's partly nostalgia (listening to it takes me back to when I first heard it), but actually Eminem had some of his sickest flows and rhymes schemes on that album, and some of his most twisted lyrics. And I really like the beats. Lowkey this is a top 5 Em album for me lol. Only song I consistently skip is "We Made You", sometimes "Must Be the Ganja" gets skipped as well. But my top favorite from that era is either Death of Slim Shady or Music to Be Murdered By. (Both sides, but mainly side A)

@bobbyqaedaThis is an amazing documentary. As an extremely die hard Eminem fan I like all his albums up to refill. /relapse. Relapse/refill honestly barely tickled my Eminem itch tbh. It did the trick though.
It kinda makes me sad but there ain’t a single song on any other album that even comes close to any of his first 4 albums. I liked beautiful actually and the two diss tracks those were good. He litterally did a 180 and became a pop star. I hate to sound like a hater, but it’s like he totally lost all his talent. Eminem used to be amazing, breath taking. Listed to the benzino ja rule disses today and they gave me goosebumps. Renegade is the hardest rap song I’ve ever heard in my life. I miss the old em man.

@hannibalburgess1980I went to the monster tour in detroit, that shit was insane. the stage went all the way from left center field to right center field. I went with my dad, who pretty much only listened to rock/metal, eminem was the only exception. But even he was impressed and enjoyed rihanna’s performance. The put on a great show for about an hour, then eminem came out and performed like 50 sons. Shit was crazy

You missed the fact that Chloraseptic remix was preplanned.
They had recorded it before releasing Revival so they could immediately release it for the bad reviews and drop everyone's jaw..
It was all a plan probably all together with Kamikaze to play with people's heads and show he can do whatever he wants and write whatever music he likes... And that he "still doesn't give a f" - although we know he does a bit 🤭.. but no artist drops hit after hit, topping each one again and again.
Plus all the criticism is most probably good for him because he needs a challenge.
