Damn for a sec I thought you were gonna show us how to grow and harvest our own chillies lol

— @guitarmaddness13

Here is the recipe and instructions! ⬇️

2lbs boneless beef chuck

Is this possible to do with chicken? My stomach can't handle beef or pork anymore. :/

— @jonathandelacerda6438

1.5lbs oxtail

salt to taste

Where’s the recipe

— @lindaluu249

oil for searing

1Tbsp apple cider vinegar

This seems so much easier than any other recipe I've seen!

— @kathleenchaffin2591

for the sauce⬇️

7 guajillo chiles (deseeded)

🤣👍

— @DJMaddScientist1

7 ancho chiles (deseeded)

5 chili de Arbor (deseeded)

I know I’m late but was that a ghost in the background?

— @hippyqueer1566

1/2 white onion

10 cloves garlic

2:28 Brother I have scychosis audio and visual so I see and hear things that arnt there, I work in a restaurant. I've long since gotten used to my mental illness so your skin walker pal is just what I see on a regular. My reactions to em are humorous 😂

— @jaimedelacruz

4 roma tomatoes

1tbsp black pepper corns

Bro that looks amazing. Do you think the sauce could be done on the pressure cooker so it goes a bit faster or nah?

— @victormdj

1tsp mexican oregano

1tsp coriander seeds

great content my guy. i was engaged the whole time

— @becoolbo

1 cinnamon stick

3 bay leaves

After smashing back a toasted sourdough variation of this dish for brunch today I am on a mission to source ingredients (Australia here) and try it for myself. So. Darn. Good. Thank you sir for the inspiration =)

— @dmays67

Add these before blending ⬇️

1tsp ground cumin

does it have to be oxtail?

— @jackmillion2276

1Tbsp salt

1.5 Cups water or beef broth (for blending)

I recently found a kitten, I had been watching one of your videos that my husband sent me on Facebook and when I saw the little cat in our driveway (that’s where I found him) I was still thinking of it (the birria tacos one) so José was the first name that came to mind. I said “This is José el Cat” and he responded to it so he’s José now 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thought you needed to know someone named a cat after you in case you wanted a weird thing to flex🙏 You’re a cool guy, thank you for your videos

— @MeowK-ultra

1. Let meat get to room temp for 30 minutes.

2.Toast spices in oven then boil them along with the rest of the sauce ingredients in a pot of water for 15 minutes. (up until the bay leaves) then strain

2:30 who was that disappearing guy lol

— @Cooking_in_China

3. before blending the boiled ingredients, add in the cumin, salt, and water and blend until completely smooth (sauce is ready)

4. Generously salt and sear the meat in batches then pour the sauce over the seared meat.

Ooohhh Yummy! Thanks. 😁👍

— @BrenZZs_GIA

5. ADD 2 cups of water or broth over the sauced meat and mix.

6.Add in the apple slicer vinegar and cover the pot to be cooked in the oven at 350f for 4 hours.

What cheese do you use for this?

— @Jeerin_

7. shred the meat and remove any bones. Assemble tacos as shown in the video!

ENJOY WITH ME!

I see other cooking Youtube channels saying, suggie suggie (for sugar) and ocean (for salt). Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Love everything you do! 😊

I didn't have cinnamon sticks, so I added a little cinnamon powder to the blender. My son was so excited I was making these. He couldn't wait 4 hours, so I cooked it in my Instant Pot for 45 minutes. It turned out AMAZING!!! Better than our local restaurant! Thank you so much for this great recipe. 😘

Does anyone know what kind of pot that is?

Question: Fried rice is made using soy sauce. Would using the Birria sauce instead create "Birria Rice?" Is that a thing? Would it taste good?

I had birria tacos the other day and i cant say i was disappointed by the lack of flavor they had because ive never successfully made them but i was severely depressed because i was so hungry and nauseous because of morning sickness. And im always taking a gamble with what my stomach will tolerate. But im always seeing your shorts and ur creations always look so appetizing

Imma make birria for my friends here in Japan. Luckily, the market in Tokyo that’s attached to the Peruvian consulate has dried chilies.

I just got done with the 4 hours and took the lid off, and my sauce was completely dried up... I was using one of those cast iron pots with the pouring spouts on each side or something, and I guess I didn't realize I was supposed to turn the lid to cover them... I know I did everything else correctly, please let me know if there was anything else I could've done wrong because I would love to try again!

METAL ON NON STICK!?

I forgot the oregano! Was wondering why the flavor was a little flat. Turned out good though! Also didn’t have limes. Would recommend roasting and grinding cumin seeds too as I tried older already ground cumin and it didn’t really come through in the flavor

I followed your recipe to show my gringo bf that I could cook … he was not disappointed 😭😭🙌🏼🙌🏼 you’re making me wifey material over here 😂

Very nice, i would leave out the cumin as i think that makes it taste like those flavor pack spice mixes they sell at the supermaked

This recipe is gas. I made this with goat for my nephew over the summer. Headed to the store to get lamb to make for dinner. The peach cobbler scone is next on my lists to try.🫡🫡🫡 I appreciate the recipes
