If I have Whisper Caches in inventory already, will the rewards improve if I switch to Penitent from Normal with the Cache in inventory, or is the loot table set by the difficulty state at the time the Cache is obtained? Would this also work for the caches earned from the Mercenary Progression and Basic Quest Rewards?

6:06 Unless this was *also changed*, for Helltide War Plan XP at least, logging out next to a chest, then changing the difficulty to Penitent, then opening a chest (then logging back out and lowering the difficulty again) will lock that Helltide node as having been completed in Penitent, which will give you 70% more War Plan XP for the Helltide activity over Normal.
This DOES NOT work though if you simply do everything on Normal, then switch to Penitent before speaking to Tyrael after you finished your War Plan route.
Not sure if it affects the XP globes that might pop though, but it doesn't change your War Plan XP.
You can keep doing this to later difficulties as you progressively get more powerful to do higher difficulties after unlocking them through the Pit as well up until you can comfortably farm T12, especially with the Whisper Caches.
8:41 Depending on your class, you won't reliably be able to have more than three non-weapon slots using these since every 5 or at the very least 10 levels you will need to change those items for something better, especially with all of your armor.
Jewelry you can get away with keeping for longer. I'm also not sure why you are talking about being able to put those affixes on gear while leveling anyway. It's not worth using the enchanter until you're at least 60+ aside from maybe getting 20% run speed on boots and you won't actually find enough cube materials for it to matter until much later anyway.
9:59 Rob kept complaining about not finding movement speed boots yet for the longest time, and I think he might have gone without it until level 15+. 😆

I highly doubt most streamers will play this, their powerful builds and endgame items, often came from their “followers” giving them items.

@sokalow_MDHSo I used your leveling guide (whirlwind leveling). It did take me 3 hours (I'm not as good as you are) but once I hit the helltide wyrms I went from 50 to 70 in about 45 mins. My biggest problem was outstripping my gear and having to drop to normal to kill anything. I wasn't dying but I couldn't kill anything either. Now I was pretending I didn't have any stuff to temper or codex which really put a damper on things.
I did do helltide on normal (warplans) and then set it up to a higher tier for chest opening and turn in which seemed to work as well.
By watching YouTube videos, Cliptis has convinced me to try a Barbarian in season 14 as my first character, instead of a Sorceress. Wish me luck!!

@paulbegansky5650Sorry cliptis, if you are on penitent at 60 or above, glyphs will dtop each time at level 60. If you complete dungeons, whispers or helltide, they MIGHT DROP.
