No dude your primary job as the healer is to heal that doesn't mean you can't make plays or get kills but if you're not focusing on healing your team suffers as a result yes it's not as simple as heal your team but you're overestimating the average intelligence of the people playing this game

I come from FragPunk, which is more on the tactical shooter side, and I feel lost, not gonna lie, but I'm actually having fun! So far there were only a handful of close, nailbiter games in my 10 hours of gameplay, which I like the most, honestly, but I'm really curious to see where it goes for me. Definitely helps to get away from the sweaty high level fragpunk matches for a couple of matches each day ^^
So far I'm enjoying Storm, Punisher and Hela the most, looking forward to trying Thor as my first tank and finding some cool supports :D

I used to play overwatch tournaments but I was still never very good. I just played soldier 67 or widow? Whatever the sniper lady was I forgot, was so long ago. I knew how to play and everything just my problem with these games is the insane amount of health

@johnnicastro593129:00 That's not how ChronoShields work at all. The demotion protection is also different. Demotion protection is how if you're -10 on D1, they don't push you do +90 on D2. You're still D1. Chrono Shields wipe out the point loss of one game every x games. In Gold its every 4th game, its more frequent like every 3rd game in lower ranks. If your loss is low points or high, it gets wiped out just the same. How could these systems work together? Say you're -10 G1 if you lost say -20 points, you'd be put into +70 G2 and demote. Instead, because of your ChronoShield you don't take the point loss and stay at -10 G1.

Pls dont listen to people that talk about "couters" if you play fundamentally good you will be ok with any pick (most pf the time you just need to use cover, for example on iron man) couters and meta exist but only in pro play

@mynameismyname541From the botrom of my heart, please dont play 1 tank 2 dupports 3dps. This comp is hard to get right and most of the time esp in ranked it doesn't work. Do it only if it is necessary and when doing it please don't stack mid: have high survivability and/or play lots of off angles contesting the map effectively.
@retro_crasherActually dope that Mills is updating a guide that he's made before for new players, I bet a lot of them are looking good guides on the current meta and nuances of ult charges post Gambit and s7 etc. New players need to be treated graciously fr because they're going to keep the game relevant far longer than the current community is at this rate.

@Richie69Ive won a game with no healers before, granted it was plat and i was technically smurfing, even though its my main acc because i took a break for a few months after dp release, came back to gold, and had a plat game during my climb back up where we had no healer and rolled them. I dont think i could do that in high celestial lobbies, but IT DID HAPPEN
