Unfortunately, this is more poignant now than when it came out. Anti Vax, flat earth with anti semitism... Scary how accurate this was with the government underestimating the impact up to today.

Since WW2, the United States has been a leader in science and medicine. Now, we are ignoring scientific findings because they don't align with Trump's political agenda. Smart. Sad. Stupid, but then it's trump.

The Conservative War on Science is motivated by the belief that god is greater than Science. Implying that Science threatens their Beliefs and consequently their religion.
It does and should.

Religion uses politics to get what it wants to subdue Science, perhaps Science should use it's advanced knowledge to subdue Religion.

They claim we are playing god, I correct them, we're beating god.
We're accomplishing things that god never could have imagined in his wildest wettest dreams.
You're going to tell me that god moves the hands of the doctors and gives them the knowledge?
Well, what took the Foxhole so damn long? Why didn't this sorry excuse of a god give us this knowledge 5,000 years ago, why in just the past 100 years have medical breakthroughs been made?
Before the 1940's, God refused to cure Syphilis. The brain damage and blindness caused by the disease was entirely his will. Then Penicillin was discovered and god changed his G'Damn mind. It's Science, not prayer, that moves the hands of god.
I am vehemently against religion, god doesn't get mad, his piss-ant followers get mad. I'm not worried about a god smiting me, I'm worried about one of his Indoctrinated Slaves "Doing God's Work" under the guise of "God works in mysterious ways BS."
Imagine what kind of world we'd be living in if every cent donated to a religion had been donated to scientific and medical research. That's the world religion has stolen from us.
With politics comes compromise, but conservatives who push their cult under the guise of politics think they are fighting for god. And it's impossible to compromise with religious nut-jobs.
The Dumber a country is, the more religion and violence there is. Countries that have the highest education have the lowest crime and virtually no religion.
Indoctrinated Slaves will fight to the Death to remain an Indoctrinated Slave.
These Foxholes are trying to turn America into a Theocracy. Take religion out of politics. Religion is 🤬ing everything up. Curb their influence, tax the Church.
Capitalism is the rule of Conservative tyranny, it promotes Slavery and inequality. Which is where America is right now.

بل إن إحدى بلدان الخليج وضعت قانونا بأولوية وتفضيل تعيين النساء في الوظائف الحكومية وتقديمهن على الرجال في كل شيء للتفاخر والتظاهر باطلا أمام البلدان الأخرى أنهم الأول والأفضل في تقدير المرأة واحترامها ولأرضاء الغرب على حساب الدين والعدالة والتقدم العلمي والحضاري والكفاءات وفي نفس الوقت يحاولون بالأموال التي يغصبونها من الشعب بالقوة عن طريق الضرائب والغرامات ومايسمونه ظلما مخالفات والرسوم الباهضة والمتصاعدة بشراء برامج فضائية للبلدان المتقدمة علميا وينسبونها لأنفسهم ويضحكون بذلك على الشعوب الجاهلة والبلدان المتخلفة

@galaxyqueen3064Some might say that spending money on things like NASA is a waste when you could spend it on things like food for developing countries in poorer regions. But I dissagree. For example satilites that NASA has built not only help us under stand space but the climate around us, and therefore helping to inform farmers of droughts, rain, etc, creating more money and food for them to develop their country. Medicine for your local GP and pharmacy? Why not a cure for cancer, and listening to the positives of vaccines, saving countless lives rather than you from your cold. My point is science helps the problem so much more over time, and I think its outrageous to believe that climate change is not real, vaccines are bad.
(and I am NOT a scientist asking for more money for those who will ask because I know there are people who will think thats what I am trying to do)
