I hate that they only gave sami a 9 day title run. He worked so hard to just rip it out of his hands is terrible. Especially with the climate we are in, he could do amazing things. I feel like this is just lazy storytelling that's turning so many people away from the product.

Sami isn't seen as that guy, but Triple H was? The guy was far worse in the ring and far worse with the mic. He literally got his spot by sucking up to Shaun Michael's and then by sleeping with the bosses daughter.

@BigDogDaddy50Let's admit that the goal from the moment Punk lost at Wrestlemania was to get the belt (er, title) back to Punk in Chicago. Having Sami be the guy to be beaten was probably the least objectionable path.
In that light, I guess this falls under the category "don't be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened"?
Sami winning was a cheap pop consolation prize because he never won it when he was at his peak(s) and I doubt anyone legitimately expected him to even hold it for a month
