While most investors think Grab Holdings (NASDAQ: GRAB) is simply the Uber of Southeast Asia, I believe the company is building something much bigger—a true super app that combines ride-sharing, food delivery, digital payments, lending, insurance, and advertising into one powerful ecosystem.
Uber is also trying to buy parent company of Foodpanda and GRAB has margin capped at 8% in Indonesia (Biggest country). Over the past 90 days alone, insiders have executed multiple transactions, all of which were sales, totaling approximately $12.3 million. On the positive Grab’s Board of Directors authorized a $500 million share repurchase program and purchasing Snatch over the next quarter.
In this video, I break down why Grab could become one of the next great technology platforms, similar to how MercadoLibre transformed Latin America or how Amazon evolved from a simple online bookstore into one of the world's largest companies. We'll look at Grab's business model, revenue growth, profitability, financial services expansion, advertising opportunity, and why I believe Wall Street may still be underestimating its long-term potential.

The one thing that you missed is how big of a risk those payday type loans that they do are. You think in terms of the United States but over in Europe, the economy is fragile. Let 50% of their loans go into default. That is by far the biggest risk.

@johntaylor4817Hmm, looks like you’ve got something here Joseph. I think I might be in on this one as a buy and hold. Not too crazy about the forward PE but they’re growing fast enough to flip that and I like that they have a share buyback plan. The early birds got their socks diluted off but that’s slowed considerably the last couple years. Looks good.

@عليحيدر-س5ذ3لI know this company very well because I travel to SE quite frequently. Invested because I see this as a hidden gem too. I can't stress to people how pervasive Grab is in Southeast Asia now expanding to Taiwan.
The brand is like Amazon in the states. It is the brand recognized everywhere! They have great fundamentals, growth and loaded with cash. The only downside is the share float over 4billion. I know they are exercising buy backs but it's still so high. Regardless I'm staying invested and buying on dips. I'm very excited about their fintech expansion even in the US with the acquisition of Stash.

Why the sell volume? 12 isn't under any radar. This is a catastrophic collapse of a stock. And it's not a penny stock. It's a failed $12 stock.
