Starmer did help out in Trump's war: he allowed US planes to fly bombing missions from British bases, thus making himself and the UK complicit in ths illegal war, just as he did with regard to the Gaza genocide. It did him no good, of course, as none of his sycophancy to Trump has; and I think Michael Wolff is right that this is one cause of his unpopularity in the UK - which, astoundingly, is far greater than Trump's in the USA! And I'd say his eviction from No. 10 in the near future in favour of Andy Burnham is as near certain as anything in politics. Reports this morning that Starmer will announce his resignation tomorrow.

Oh, how I wish the person arranging the chairs at the G7 meeting had lowered Trump’s as low at it can go. Then , even for a moment or two, we could’ve seen him with only his head and shoulders sticking up from the table edge. The ensuing rage would also have been fantastic 😂😂😂😂

Coles obivously dislikes Trump but she's basically in awe of rich people and seems to forgive anything a rich guy gets up to. In my opinion she lacks a political compass but then again she wrote for the Guardian.
