I really like when people even during casual conversations use this method. This is the best way to challenge both your and the other persons claims and understanding. Such questions transfer the discussion to a deeper and more complex level, where generic claims cannot remain unnoticed. This also helps to discovers the flaws in the thinking and improve! It helps reveal and eliminate holes in understanding.

You give your understanding and then reflect (through questioning)

Essentially, critical thinking is questioning everything AND finding/eliminating assumptions [that are usually just holes in understanding] SO THAT you gain new understanding (and ofc have learnt)

Guys this was my first video to critical thinking 2 years ago. I accepted and learnt the path of improving critical thinking and administering it into writing and in my studies. I bought many books and started reading them, my life improved. I also applied it to my life. Gradually using this skill for 2 +years.

Critical thinking led me to question and think deep about everything.

In the end, i reached the end of my thoughts and questions of life and everything else.
With all my beliefs, trust and honest questions i ended.

If your reasoning causes an anger response on the other side, you have either triggered a delusional (or an idealogue), or your interlocuter realizes that you have employed fallacy to win your argument but can't detect where and what type.

If it is your goal to 'win', you are not a philsopher, you are a debater who thinks themselves clever for frequent recourse to unitentional logical fallacy. If you use fallacy intentionally to win, knowing full-well you are wrong, you are a politician.

You can't reason or debate (not the same) with a delusional or an idealogue because they are convicted in faith to something that was never caused or triggered by a material reality, therefore it can't be refutiated by absence or evidence of one either.
