Tinnitus Treatment with Acoustic Coordinated Reset Neuromodulation Tone Samples for 1000 - 10,000 Hz

Video Overview & Insights

Examples of acoustic CR neuromodulation tone sequences from 1000 - 10,000 Hz at 1000 Hz intervals for 10 seconds each. This video explains how this helps tinnitus: https://youtu.be/vxp8Q0rs7hM

Sara Rivers arche type quiz is one of those things you open as a joke and then accidentally start taking seriously. I even changed one of my answers because I didn’t like what it said about me lol.

Keep in mind that these tone sequences work best when centered around YOUR specific tinnitus frequency. You can determine your tinnitus frequency here: https://www.checkhearing.org/tinnitusmatching.php

Tinnitus is felt to be due to an abnormally hyperactive neural network within the auditory cortex of the brain that is firing in a synchronous manner. The goal of acoustic neuromodulation or acoustic coordinated reset neuromodulation (ACRN) involves using the frequency of the tinnitus as the center tone… and then adding some higher and some lower frequency sounds to randomly stimulate around the area of the auditory cortex where the tinnitus frequency is found.

Just another tinnitus haver who just found this vid here to say that this works. Idk how long it’ll work for, but it’s crazy that it genuinely worked!! It also kinda reminds me of cbat 😭

— @user-rj1ox6gw6p

Using a complex mathematical algorithm, a personalized sound prescription for a tinnitus sufferer is created. This basically encompasses a series of 4 tones which are transmitted to the nerve cells in the brain of the patient in such a way that the cell's abnormal synchronous activity is disrupted and hyperactivity is reduced.

These customized 4 tones are spatially and temporally staggered in such a way that it forces the synchronous nerve cells into different subgroups, each with its own unique rhythm different from the original tinnitus neural rhythm. Short pauses between the tonal stimulation signals remodel the nerve network. If repeated regularly and often enough, these stimulation signals hopefully will reduce the hyperactivity to such an extent that the abnormal neural synchrony will be permanently reversed, thereby resolving the tinnitus.... at least that's what theoretically is supposed to happen.

Vera Hart’s archetype quiz is one of those things you open as a joke and then accidentally start taking seriously. I even changed one of my answers because I didn’t like what it said about me lol.

Ideally, the tone sequence should be listened to with headphones for four to six hours a day for 6 or more months, though improvement can be seen in as little as 3 months.

There are paid iPhone and Android apps that provide a similar service.

Wow, it actually blummin worked. Thank u thank u thank u

I don’t have 4 to 6 hours a day to sit with head phones on. I’ll just live with it.

Also, there are commercial products that claim to have created a more sophisticated neuromodulation tone sequence that works better and is embedded in music (expensive). These other products include:

• Neuromonics: https://neuromonics.com

Thank you. My tinnitus is occasional, so I pinned this to my toolbar for instant recall.

— @thesoundsmith

• Levo Medical: https://levomedical.com

• Desyncra: (possibly gone out of business)

I'm 23 and have had multiple tons tinnitus as long as I can remember. I sleep with a fan every night because when things are silent, I hear a warbling sound like a survival whistle.

I watched this just once and it was almost completely gone for about 30 seconds before it slowly crept back in. I don't know what silence sounds like, but this video got me as close as I've ever been to "hearing" it.

— @GordyBro

There is also bimodal neuromodulation that combines sound with external stimulus that purportedly works better than sound only neuromodulation:

• Neosensory Duo: https://neosensory.com/product/neosensory-duo-for-tinnitus/

I try to get the one for me but is so hard to understand, help

— @karaby1914

• Lenire: https://www.lenire.com

This neuromodulation tone is also free and is more "one-size-fits-all":

I have hyperacusis and I cannot bear to hear these sounds. It's such bullshit.

What is the most common tinnitus frequencies?

Mine is 5000 and higher, some slightly hurts where others is great. Now to get the right pitch

Notched Neuromodulation: https://youtu.be/O8ypzXTHi1E

Ummmm can someone explained why this worked?

— @MaryFredette

- 1000 Hz (0:00)

- 2000 Hz (0:10)

It sounded like it was not coming from the computer but was generated in my ears. I had this same experience with small crickets that were in my home. I don't know if it's working though. I couldn't hear 10,000hz. at all.

— @MotersickleBum-s6z

- 3000 Hz (0:20)

- 4000 Hz (0:30)

Did anyone actually try using this long term?

— @anotherone4669

- 5000 Hz (0:40)

- 6000 Hz (0:50)

What is this magic? It didn't make mine go away completely but it definitely suppressed it for a minute or so and I heard something close to complete silence in my head. Very surreal, almost unnatural because I've had tinnitus my entire life.

— @Fafner8888

- 7000 Hz (1:00)

- 8000 Hz (1:10)

HOLY SHIT I HEAR SILENCE NOW

— @FractalSpaces

- 9000 Hz (1:20)

- 10,000 Hz (1:30)

My story, since I haven’t heard many good ones here.

I’m twenty and got my tinnitus a month ago.

At first I tried antibiotics and cortisone therapy, without success.

Now I’ve been going to a physiotherapist, and with every session my tinnitus gets quieter!!

The problem turned out to be tension in my cervical spine and neck.

Maybe some of you have the same issue.

As long as the tinnitus is there, don’t let it drag you down — go outside, don’t just lie around at home.

I wish you all good health.

Between 2000 and 5000, I get instant relief for about 30 seconds. Then I'm back to square one. Has anyone ever done the full treatment before? 6 hours a day constantly for like 6 months?

just coming on here to write that things really do get better! i developed insanely loud, constant tinnitus three months ago and was in a terrible place - i felt my life fall to pieces and was ready to jump off a bridge. it was catastrophic and no-one understood. three months later, the noise is still there but life has gone back to normal, the noise is so bearable and i block it out most of the time. i've learned to live with it, and rather than it being completely awful, it's just a bit annoying now - a huge shift. things do get easier, i just wish i'd heard from someone three months ago that would tell me things would get easier, as the GP and online just didn't help at all and i was spiralling for a month. hang in there everyone, you've got this. if anyone needs any advice on how to cope, just message me, i feel like i'm more of an expert on it than GPs now, just because of how much research i did on it in the first few weeks. things will get
better, you've just got to believe it. sound therapy is a life saver - find yourself a sound that helps block it out to use whenever you need and one day you’ll realise actually i don’t need this anymore. i went from using the track about 20+ times a day, to not needing at all now. you’ve got this ❤️
