The uk is a poor country pretending to be rich - the number of people shopping in M&S and driving the lease Audi - all living on the never never

— @Playrisk-x9j

The consumer champion's latest supermarket food and drink inflation tracker which tracks over 27,000 prices each month across eight of the UK's largest supermarkets (Aldi, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose) shows overall grocery inflation increased from 2.4 per cent in May to 2.6 per cent in June, marking the first monthly increase since May last year.

This means the price of food is going up by more than it has in earlier months.

All about profit nothing more just look at the amount of profits tesco's and sainsbury have made. Not passing any savings to loyal customers people are genuinely struggling. Working abroad within the EU the prices are alot lower energy costs lower fuel lower the list continues 😑

Prices are determined by the big store s. Go to your local. Shop and take the power out of their hands. They will drop their prices and you can go back and buy cheaper

How is it I'm hearing the same issues taking place... Cost of living crisis, energy crisis, poverty crisis.....

Mind-blowing...

I pay the same rate for electricity for the past two years, the same train ticket cost, the price of butter has actually dropped....

Masters of Resources. Yes, I do think anyone who works 8-9 hours a day should be able to afford Rent, bills, and groceries with their paycheck alone, no matter what job they do. That's kind of the whole point of having a freaking job, and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.

Some of these excuses for price rises are pathetic. More pathetic then the excuses used for shoplifting when poor I may add...
