I loved this version of this song so much I downloaded it when I was trapped in a rural area with my abusive ex husband. I remember at my lowest point after being beaten and told he would take our kids, driving down a dark road with it playing over and over while I wept in anticipation of driving straight into Lake Coeur d’Alene… then something suddenly snapped me out of it while I screamed along with the song. I pulled over, wept for hours in the dark and drove back home. I took my kids and started a new life with them, safe and away from drugs and abuse . I have never been happier with my new life and husband. My kids are adults/teenagers now and thriving with education and jobs. This song didn’t “save me”, but it was there when I saved myself. And I will never ever forget that. I play it often and smile.

@시사의온도I met this lady in Byron bay busking and bought her CD and because I was on my own and it was my first night there and had no friends I sat and talked to her and even got her an ice cream cos I was getting myself one anyway, what a memory she was and is special this was about 8 years ago maybe longer but yeah, Byron bay is a special place about 3 hours up the Gold Coast from Brisbane but it’s full of celebrities and pure talent busking but she was on another level, it was 1 year later when I was back at home in the UK i heard her voice on the radio and thought that’s that girl I shared an ice cream with 😊

@WredactedI recently saw a story accidental hit songs. It had her, saying she was traveling around Australia in a van and would play on the streets for cash. All she wanted was enough cash so she could travel around in her van. She wrote this song one night after people were rude while she was singing (it took about 30 minutes to write it). It became a hit for her. Here she traveled to the US to sing on the Jimmy Fallon show (6 years ago so during the high numvers of covid)! Good for her.
