Great to see our own Croke Park on the list. It has a larger playing area than all of the rest on the list (not counting running tracks) because a GAA pitch is longer and wider than soccer and rugby pitches. It was designed so that a temporary running track could be installed if needed but that never happened. I first attended a Gaelic football match in croke park in 1985 in the old version of the stadium. In its current form, I attended gaelic football matches and an unrelated seminar held inside the stands one time. Fun fact: one of my sisters abseiled from the roof for charity a few years ago.

id love to experience the biggest stadiums in europe also maracana in brazil, i went to the melbourne cricket ground to watch brazil vs argentina in a friendly in 2018, the attendance was over 95,000 & the capacity is 100,000, amazing experience 🏟🙌

Wow, croke park is 82k even with half a stand at the back. Anyone know how big it could be if it was theoretically 'finished off' the same as the rest of it? (AND YES I KNOW IT CANT BE)
