Do you want to move to that perfect place?
Everywhere is too crowded and I don’t like small towns as I’m fairy asocial and don’t want everyone knowing me.. I like anonymity. But I was born here in FL and all my loved ones are here.. I’ve grown attached. I’ve been pushed out of Palm beach county as it got crazy expensive but I miss it.
Do you need a local Realtor for the area you want to move to?
HomeAndMoney.com can help:

Melbourne is also nice. Very close to beaches and not far from Disney and Cape Canaveral. You can purchase a 2 bed 2 bath condo for UNDER $190K

I am a native Floridian and found your video to be very interesting. My husband and I live in the Daytona Beach area. We are trying to decide if we should move into one of the northern states where it is cooler and no hurricanes.
🏡Suite Life For Briggs:
@SuiteLife4Briggs
These are not really the least expensive places to live in FL. There are a lot of better inexpensive areas that I won't mention. Briggs obviously didn't explore around much. Also some places have doubled and tripled since the 1990s. The main great positive thing that isn't mentioned and is overlooked is living there you are not living in a major megalopolis region such as the northeast from Boston to Alexandria. Also Florida is so much cleaner with less laws and more freedom and the pace is slower.

I vacationed in Kissimmee and will never go back!

I still miss the spinning Briggs globe.
@martinavaslovik3433And he pronounced New Smyrna wrong. Lol
@chucklangham4608Ahh florida, a shady place for shady people.
@HectorLopez-ux1wwIt's called Lakeland, there are going to be tons of gators.
@tesscotIt's pronounced "Kis-SIM-me".
@davidcmatthewsnot KISS'-a-me ... it's Kiss-SIM'-e
@billraudenbush3297Kissimmee is where The Florida Project was filmed
@RossBaby91Showing my wife your views on Florida. She thinks you should not use the word cheapest. Say, inexpensive. I say, done say kiss me. The town is called, kah-sim- me.
@1cheeselouiseI wouldn't move back to florida for any reason, Ahd there's plenty of reasons to stay out of that place.
@googleuser6875There's a reason why Edgewater is cheaper than Daytona or New Smyrna
@aragos32727Yes, 👍 FREEDOM FLORIDA! 👍
@ALuDoyIf you can't pronounce it, don't do the video!
@anneholden9908I wish Deltona was"tucked away" on this list
@UncleTrash_13Hey 👋, from P.C., FL
@franklinkeeley2327I lived in Tampa for three years and then Orlando for 24 years. Now I’m in Texas. If I were to move back to Florida, there is no way I would live anywhere inland. I would move somewhere on the gulf coast. I miss the gulf coast beaches, but that’s all I miss about Florida, so I don’t see myself moving back there.
@josephinemiller4780Florida is such a transient place.... If you like living next to someone that most likely came from NY/NJ then you may be able to deal with the suppressive heat
@travelinghustlerMost of these places are anywhere from ok - nice. But Lake City is the only one that is bad. Their crime rate is awful for a town their size. Kissimmee and Gainesville are the better two on this list.
@Oiwiththepoodles-t6bBartow right next to the lovely phosphate mines, county seat for Polk County. Only a few miles south of Lakeland. Lakeland has zero night life, and Winter Haven has more lakes. I know because I live there. Tampa is close but dreaded Interstate 4, the most dangerous Interstate in the country, make getting there painful!
@jozimotowhat about winter haven?
@edc5855I know Palm beach isn’t on the list
@TheDutchRabbitMafiaNot true about Panama City.WAY HIGHER PRICED. TRAFFIC HORRIBLE.
@paceflchick😂😂😂😂 how you pronounce Kissimmee. Not the way it is pronounced in FL. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@marielalinares6898^^
@TheeLaosDYou have to account for home owners insurance where the poor in central Florida subsidize insurance for those on or near the coast. Mine went up 2,000% and I'm at 141 feet above sea level and not near the coast. Of course this happened right after Helene.
@billwhite1603Native Floridian here. Great video. Only exception I may have is Lake City. Last time I was there it was a dump! But perhaps it's better now.
@sfg3xIt's pronounced kiss emmy
@membearI never thought I’d see a video like this with my hometown Deltona in it but I’m decently surprised. And it kinda checks out as long as you stay away from 3rd side Deltona and Deltona Blvd. And you stay away from both for the same reason, you don’t want your car/house broken into, and you don’t want to come into constant contact with the local wildlife which are the methheads.
@alexguadalupe9682Hey, What about Chiefland, in Levy County?
@davidadamson3664I lived in pensacola in 2011-12 where i attended the university of west florida. The job economy was terrible then! I wouldn’t recommend unless you have a job lined up before moving . Also there is no night life there (i dont do clubs regardless but if that interests you i would stir away) and like the video mentioned the BEACHES are beautiful but thats about where the beauty ENDS. This place is boring One mall for the area , you also border mobile Alabama (theres nothing to do there either unless you enjoy hunting) . I would recommend pensacola to anyone who is retired. I ended up moving back to my hometown in central florida where you can land 3 jobs in one day without an issue.
@girlwiththecurlyfro2552This is an interesting topic which you could apply to each state, or at least the more popular/populous states, or ones that have some towns which are surprisingly cheap considering how nice they are or where they are located.
@sc100ottNice presentation
@bruceshelton1498Kissimmee (Ki-Sim-Eeeeee)-giant hub of human trafficking; Jacksonville-gangs
@Anonyname5CHEAP... Not inexpensive.
@James-bd3eiBorn in Pensacola, spent early years between Texas and Pensacola. As a young adult in 90s there were no opportunities (except adult dancing), family members up in my business, racism, redneck culture. With only a GED, no scholarships were available. I was denied welfare, being white and living with my father who had income. Not wanting to be a stripper, I left Pensacola to make a better life. After over a decade travelling the country on Renaissance Faire circuit (Like you, Briggs, I have traveled much of the United States) ending up in Puna, Big Island, Hawaii in 2005. And oh how often do I long for my hometown of Pensacola. The lack of opportunity, racism, backwards social norms of the region, corrupt local government, and stagnation I longed to escape in my youth has surrounded me the last two decades in Hawaii. Pensacola has WAY better beaches, less danger, and a better economy. YES, PENSACOLA IS A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE THAN HAWAII. But I grew up watching Fantasy Island, with wanderlust for that greener grass.
