Would have liked to have seen Music Man on the list. Having performed in it I found it to be much deeper than one would think, combatting prejudice and pettiness while also celebrating a love for music, which is why we watch musicals to begin with. Plus a great period piece for life before WWI.

Hamilton is the best musical, and it just appeared in my life at the right time, yeah, the goddamnit pandemic. Thanks to Lin-Manuel, for bringing this masterpiece to us. Absolutely brilliant for the recent decade in my heart. ⭐️👆

Ranking all wrong, some choices don't deserve to be there, others grotesquely omitted. Ah, well. To each their own.

Never heard of some of these! Oklahoma should be in the top five!

Evita is missing

I’m sorry but WHERES LES MISERABLES. Controversial opinion but it’s better than Wicked, has a lot more better songs than not good, while Wicked has quite a few stinkers

The Rocky Horror Show is missing. We are still doing the Time Warp since 1975.😂

Man of La Mancha should have made this list

There's some really great ones on this list especially "Les Mis". Went to see that one live one time. It blew me away. I love that one. "Annie" should have made the list. I guess it was an honorable mention here, since they only showed a clip of "Tomorrow" at the beginning. Also, another one I've always liked, but didn't make it here is "Guys and Dolls".

@EricPS

Loved them all but Cats was my favorite.

Actually, they should be listed the favorites of the different age groups. It’s very difficult to see some of the ones listed when many of the older ones were so much more entertaining. So sorry that the younger generations never got to see certain magnificent ones.

I am not sure where it would go in the ranking, but above 10, but there has to be room here somewhere for Man of LaMancha.

"Fiddler On The Roof" was played, in 1971, at St. Joseph's Academy in McSherrystown, Pa.
This musical was, is and always will be very close to my ❤ heart because I was a member of the cast.

I have my own " One Way Woman Show", the camera finds it, the cast and crew!!! Thank you very much!!!

I am surprised Jesus Christ Superstar is not on this list. Great music, including a symphony and dual rock bands, and one of the greatest stories. My father took my entire family to the Broadway show in the early seventies when I was a teenager, and not one of my 8 other brothers and sisters was bored for a minute.

I LOVE Phantom of the Opera my favorite movie. It's my favorite Broadway musical. I've seen it live at least 10 plus times I love it more than I've ever loved everything. I've even chatted with andrew lloyd webber and I love most of his musicals, but I hate cats and I hate cats and I hate. ... Cat's

Proof positive that lists like these are purely subjective. What criteria were used to determine what order the shows were presented in?

It would be much better to allow the viewers of the content to have a say considering eyeballs and ears are what make any production popular.

I just saw 1776 on YouTube free. It is very entertaining. Maybe in theaters this 250th Birthday?

Showed Congress like people today.
