My top 5 in no particular order... Discover It card, Chase Freedom Flex, Custom Cash Back, Wells Fargo Active cash for my 2% cash back card because of the $200 bonus, and US Bank Cash+ card (Side note - no one in the Youtube credit card community seems to discuss the us bank cash+ card as much as I would expect and Im not entirely sure why, it seems tremendous) - my list is compiled entirely of no annual fee cards mainly because I dont travel much

#5-Chase Freedom Unlimited
Bro not going to lie even if you just make this channel Sofi dedicated, I'll sub lol
This card has no annual fee and has a brand new signup offer giving you a 1.5% cash back boost in your first year on up to $20,000 in spending. That means that on travel purchases made through the Chase ultimate reward system you're going to get 6.5% cash back, 4.5% cash back on dining, including takeout and delivery services as well as drugstores, and 3% back on all other purchases.
#4-Capital One Venture X
your #1 and #2 are the two i use the most, apple card is a distant 3rd now. i just hit enough to get the $300 back on amex card so will probably mostly use the sofi card now, except what gets 6% back on amex.
The venture X card is offering a 75,000 mile signup bonus when you spend $4000 in the first three months, a 10,000 mile anniversary bonus for every year that you keep this card, as well as a $300 annual travel credit, and a $100 credit towards global entry or TSA pre-check. You're also going to get 10 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked through the capital one travel site as well as five miles per dollar on flight spoke with capital one travel and two miles on all other purchases.
#3-Discover It
review step banking already
The Discover it card has no annual fee and it gives you 5% cash back on certain rolling categories on up to $1500 in purchases each quarter. And these are very common categories like Amazon, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and even PayPal. Plus they're going to give you 1% cash back on all other purchases and you get their incredibly popular cash back match in your first year meaning you're basically getting a 10% back on those rolling categories and 2% back on everything else.
#2-SoFi Credit Card
Great video as always, I would have included 2 more honorable mentions
- custom cash citi card for 5% on top spend (for gas or food)
- us bank cash + card for 5% rotating categories (department stores (clothes) or electronic stores or phone or WiFi bill)
This card keeps it pretty simple but this is actually going to give you 2% unlimited cash back on all purchases but the best part about this card and what sets it apart from similar cards that also give you 2% back is the fact that you can redeem your cash back rewards in a number of different ways. For example, you can redeem it directly into your SoFi invest account and put it towards fractional shares, invested in cryptocurrencies, use it to pay down eligible SoFi loans or put it towards your card balance, and of course, you can also just take the cash back and it will go directly into your SoFi money account.
#1-American Express Blue Cash Preferred
You're going to have no annual fee in your first year and after that, it's a very reasonable $95 per year which in my opinion is a small price to pay for the insane benefits you get from this card. You're going to earn 6% cash back on all grocery store purchases up to $6000 each year, 6% back on streaming services, 3% back on transit including taxis, rideshare, parking, tolls, and buses, plus 3% back gas stations and 1% back on all other purchases. Typically in order to cover all of those different spending categories you'd have to have a trifecta of three credit cards that in some cases cost nearly $1000 per year. Plus you'll currently earn $300 in cash back after you spend $3000 in the first six months of having this card.
