Let Me Explain M Night's new Trap
well actually, they did say in the radio, swat member down. He probably killed him and wore his uniform

Written, Edited & Recorded:
Any killer so dangerous that he’s killed 12 people + now 2 freaking SWAT officers (!!) would have been shot dead on the spot.
But sure, only taser this guy and let him play around with a bicycle before taking him away.

TRAP (2024):
But is it in the same universe as unbreakable?
A man films his daughter at a concert.
DIRECTOR: M. Night Shyamalan
Ok first off M. Night didn't direct this one of his daughter's did. And second not only are you using literally completely WRONG but you're being wrong about 30 times. I need a drinking game for how many times you say "literally"
WRITER: M. Night Shyamalan
STARRING: Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Kid Cudi, Alison Pill, Hayley Mills, Jonathan Langdon
This movie was dope. I’d follow the butcher for film 2

I don’t watch movies very often but I really liked this one and felt the tense moments, I did not like the ending but I’m hoping it’s setting up a part 2

the setting and acting of everyone in the first 30mins of the movie was so off that I had to keep reminding myself that this movie was produced and directed by M. night shyamalan. The same dude who directed Signs and The Sixth Sense. The rest of the half of the movie was too cringe and painful to watch but I was so already too deep that I had to punish myself and finish the entire movie with a small percentage of hope that a plot twist might change the outcome of the movie. But WTF?! He could have just spent more millions to enroll her daughter to more acting school. I was like watching a bad youtube shortfilm with how bad the acting of the other casts in this film. Shyamalan probably just loves her daughter that fucking much that he is willing to throw millions of dollars and his reputation for a school project. I regret watching this entire movie 😂😂

And this is how you do a movie recap. All movie recaps should be like this.

One of the corniest movies I’ve ever seen. It’s like a lifetime nepo baby movie
@RKN4713No need to explain why trap is goofy lol
@screaminlordbyron7767liked the movie more than any of these DEI hollywood overpraised bs.
@babaroga73I have liked most of his movies! The only one I really disliked was Lady in the Water. I liked this one too though the first half was stronger than the second half. The twist should have been his wife was involved too!!
@la214laThis movie was dumb as fuck but a fun time
@XI_frankSTAR_IXThe ridiculous way in which his wife acted, which seems quite unrealistic, is almost exactly how Ted Bundy's gf lead to his arrest.. so there's that.
@AlexanderSamarthThis is the closest thing we got to a Dexter movie.
@AlexanderSamarthThis is my favourite M Night Shayamalan film. I love it. It’s a break from the supernatural stuff. Hartnett’s performance is peak, he was great in the role. Yes the second half gets silly but the twist was smart, the subplot with his mother was neat and the heart of the film is the relationship between Butcher & Riley. Their scenes together are gold, the final scene when she hugs her father, crying her eyes out, surrounded by feds, whilst he’s in chains is utterly heartbreaking. If you think about it, Riley simultaneously had the best & worst day of her life. It’s also a really fun film, the first act is excellent. The camerawork, showcasing butcher’s increasing paranoia, the closeups of his face, talking to Riley’s friend’s crazy mother, talking to Jamie etc.
@master-of-mind5881this movie sucked 😂
@xotonezThe beginning of the movie was awesome. Finding out Hartnetts the killer and him weaseling around and dusguising himself like agent 47 was great. Then it gets goofy as hell.
@JDOdoubleGThe mistake I made was getting stoned while watching this movie. That shit had me paranoid🙁
@jadiels.foster286Amy Schumer Jnr is cold man 😂
@davem6749I guess I'm the only person who saw the movie, that was annoyed that the serial killer... "The Butcher" or smth didn't kill a single person in this entire movie. Even those he had every reason and opportunity to kill like the Pop Star, he just chose not to :/
@zqninja3334A WOMEN GOT JASON DERULO
@medianaranjajajaThe unrealistic thing about the movie is the FBI actually doing their job.
@Hello-sw3enI thought this was about music
@JohnOdunayomnight really is just that one high college kid that spouts out random cool ideas with basically zero idea how to execute them well
@ryanreviews8566Kid Cudi was one of the best parts of the movie tbh
@amiraameera8302i just watched this movie and i hated it so much that i looked up reviews of it to see if other people hated it as much as i did, dont think a film ever made me feel that way
@Henry_AhlYeah they really should've gotten some outside writers to come take a couple passes at the second half. Like he says the first half is great but the second half feels so rushed and forced.
@ziggygunz2447Kira yoshikage level of plot armor
@elonmust6844The twist is actually pretty meta. It was actually just a concert for his daughter.
@ThebluntlonerNepo babies.
@ArtisStarks-j6lM. Night literally made Nepo Baby: The Movie. He said fck subtlety; I’m not just leaning into it, I’m BECOMING it.
@thatboybearWhile this was a dumb movie I loved it, I think a lot of it was down to Josh Hartnett's charisma
@lukeb247Ewww the nepotism is truly disgusting. Cringe out of my body at the singing scenes.
@TS-qr3rkTrap is just a NEPO baby movie
@Nope123soNothing but an ad for India damn near. Shit was cringe
@GodKamSecond half started off strong.
The Visit was pretty dope. Hilarious and gross. The twist was good too.
And Split was... Well it was Split. :)
Horrible
@michaeldelemos1789When I saw someone with the same surname as his in the credits…I was on the fence.
When I realized that the singer was his daughter, I knew this would suck.
I was not mistaken. And as I feared, she would be given an actual role other than just singing. Turns out, she is not even remotely decent an actor.
The movie falls apart once this happens. It’s not entirely her fault but it did not work, at all.
Movies need to be judged on how bad they were in relation to how much was spent / level of celeb power / hype ifs gotten. If a movie is. 13/100 but it’s had a billion dollar budget and several A list celebs, it should be way worse regarded than an Indy 13/100 movie.
@maddesoncoutts25599:32 a trap is not a psy-op. It’s just an operation it’s not psychological in the sense it’s used in psy-op
@EatmorepaperBecause they knew about his tattoo when he looked at the deep fryer I thought he was gonna put his arm in to burn away the tattoo 😂
@cjbarton0055The trap was watching this horrible movie 😂
@franco.cordiniMy first time that I choose to stop watching a movie in the middle of movie. This movie is really a trap
@patatebanine4278Wait so from the policea POV they:
-Get a random call from someone saying there isna table and a chair in a room
-see a ticket and somehow make out that this means hes the killer just trusting this unkown lady
-Wihtout any other contact or evidence set up security for 20000 people if this tiny random call that has nothing to to eith the murders
The movie was bad. 😢
@thesciencehubskb“Trap” is a sort of black comedy. You may like it, you may not. But it is noticeable that Shyamalan has been criticized for years for things that other directors get away with. In the past, it was his cameos (compare Hitchcock), now it is the trope that the police are incompetent (compare Hitchcock again) and the fact that he casts his own daughter (compare Hitchcock as well).
@thomasknorra2042Trash movie
