Kaki. My wife and kids love persimmons, me, they’re ok. When I was a kid growing up on Okinawa, I loved kaki and tofu, now not so much. My wife and I just returned from Okinawa and she bought a pack of kakis from Costco.

They didn't have orange chicken at Costco the last time I went there.

You can buy a persimmon fruit in Brazil for less then 50 JPY.

My hometown Costco is a smaller Costco so there's nothing special there.
@Smithcraft1The pizza in the TAKE OUT poster is the late and great Combo pizza which Japan still had until recently.
And I don't know if it was already mentioned, but we don't have chicken tenders in the US.
I would love to see all this yummy looking stuff in the US Costco's.
@SunnyDay-w6lNo Beef Bulgogi Bake at my local Costco in CT or MA. Costco used to sell Beef Bulgogi in the prepared food section, but I haven't seen it there for at least the past 2 years. It's one of my favorite Korean foods.
@UnknownAsianPowerlifterthe calzone is in the US now, that one, ALSO we do not have the chicken tenders here
@TheCookieDoeDeerthere are many different varieties of persimmons I have a few trees all different varieties you should try the different varieties to see if one may be better then the others, those kind of looked like Fuyu
@lutomson3496Great episode! Any Walnut bread available at your Costco?
@henrymatos9551First McDonalds, then KFC, and now Costco. Why must you all take our stuff and make them so so so so so much better?? 🤣
That's why I am afraid if someone gets the idea of opening a Lawson's here in the US, it will suck. 😭😭
Here the kaki has arrived as well. So autumn is really here. I'm always a bit sad that we don't have something like a Costco here where I live. I would love to try the bulgogi bake. And I wonder if I mix some wasabi powder in with my homemade rach seasoning if I get a similar flavour was the potato chips. I think my favourite would be the kaki as well hahaha
@just_me_tamarawe don´t even have costco in my country 😂😂 all of that stuff looks f*cking amazing
@germanfox11I can’t eat pumpkin pie these days unless I make it dairy and gluten free but you can’t go wrong with a Costco pumpkin pie. In the US it’s 6 bucks and HUGE. An incredible deal if you can finish it 😅🥧
@mixelle_0Love you Shinichi and Satoshi ! I can't have a Saturday night without you ! Sending love !
@jasminaalmPersimmons look like mangos cut up. Never tried one.
@tgilroytgWhere we live there are not chicken tenders. I don't know if they have them anywhere in the US but I have not seen them.
@jaklg7905Hmm, if i eat in the food court here in Canada I usually just stick with the hot dog or sausage (we can choose either), but if I remember correctly we also have fries, pizza, sundaes, ice cream, and poutine.
@kirstenwright932Watching from Canada & surprised to see Hardbite potato chips with the Canadian flag at Costco in Japan! I recognize the brand being at my local Costco but haven’t paid much attention to what flavours they sell… don’t remember a Wasabi one though. Would be interested in trying that one!
@kirstenwright932My favorite is also a persimmon. We get them only for a very short period of time in Colorado so I get as many as I can while I can (even at $4.00 or more each). It's a little taste of home. ❤
@Tam_EikiLove your Costco review! Here in Montana, USA, we currently have two amazing items: the hot Turkey Provolone sandwich, and the warm, melty, chocolate chip cookie, which is actually two cookies stacked on top of each other and baked into a one monstrous chunk of goodness.
@jeffmow2184I like the eyeglasses. I want to get that.
@mr-none-of-your-businessOMG! Costco in Japan is a total gem! Way more variety and awesome stuff than the ones in Canada!
@onitravelI just ate and now I'm hungry again. I wish I could get those Wasabi chips in the US. 😊
@babsr8479You guys are the best ❤..
Could you show us some muslim-friendly and halal food places in Tokyo?
I plan to visit japan next year.. 😊
Than you..❤❤
even Japanese(East Asia in general) Costco is better than North American ones.....and how come Canada doesn't have that homegrown chips?! we need it
@AmelieZhThe American Chicken Bake is not good in my opinion -- I mean, it's not bad, but nothing special. Definitely would prefer bulgogi!
@dhsaunoAnd you guys have different pizza too
@ladtbutterfly1296We don't have the chicken tenders in the US or the fried chicken in our Costco ironic i know so unfair lolzz
@ladtbutterfly1296The way you pronounced calzone, sounded like you said underwear in Spanish 😅
@Señor_DanielVIt’s not wasabi, just horseradish…
@ImadovBulgogi bake is only available for Costco in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China.
@pimaxumaNone of the food looks good.... except the poke salmon. Yum
@upsizedWe don't have orange chicken or chicken nuggets sold ready made in our Costcos in Southern California! I see them in the freezer section though by other companies.
I wonder if it's the lighting but your pumpkin pie look a bit lighter than the ones I've seen here!
Now I understand why there wasn't a Konbini Watch at the start of the week, you treated Costco like a konbini! Must add a few kaki fruit to the shopping list tomorrow.
@willemgroenewegen5934Chicken bake 😔 wish we had the calzone, frozen soft serve treats, etc
@FoxyAngelQTlove you can use your membership card around the world. I used mine in France and England, i don't think Germany had any Costco?
@a201willThe one close by my family in Michigan, USA has hot dogs, pizza, chicken bakes, soft serve, frozen coffee drinks, a fruit smoothie drink, a baked ham sandwich and a salad that rotates on what type.
@Mrs.Ox84Hi Shinichi and Satoshi, we ate our dinner while watching this video and our food tasted so much better. 😂 Thank you ❤
@hmrogers97The Bulgogi bake looks great!
@kr0v3kThe US does not have orange chicken in the ready made section. We have mostly caesar salad and lasagna at the location near my home.
@morganrubin6455We have the calzones in the US, including a supreme one, which makes the people I know mad because they no longer do the supreme pizza here. No Bulgogi, our bakes are the chicken bakes. There are a few new options at the food court, too, but I haven't checked them out, as I don't pick up food there; I only see the signs as I leave the store. Orange chicken is over by the rotisserie chicken/ribs/chicken wings, but in the deli cold cases with the big salads, taco packs, and sushi near the back of the store. A lot is regional, though. The one by my parents up in AK does not have the same deli (aside from the salads) selections or the wings in the hot case as of the last time they were there.
@davidbolles3216Pumpkin pie is secretly very good for you! Makes a good breakfast! With some nice tea.
@BluetanggSadly, I’ve never seen a Bulgogi Bake. It looks delicious. We have a bland Chicken Bake. Lots of gravy inside. Hard pass for me. 😢
@BluetanggIt looks much like a Philly cheesesteak here in the US
