The U.S. Air Force is moving to more than double its planned F‑15EX Eagle II fleet, repositioning the jet from a niche replacement for worn‑out airframes into a major pillar of its future combat air forces. Under the latest plan tied to the FY‑27 budget, the service now aims for 267 F‑15EXs—up from 129—and is beginning to recapitalize not only legacy F‑15C/D air-superiority squadrons but, eventually, portions of the F‑15E Strike Eagle community as well.
But the american generals are busy telling Canada that 4th gen fighters are useless. Are they all just corrupt liers?

@XrayMike17plus1Great news it’s not a stealth jet but it’s a great jet fighter and a proven success keep building them we need to get the whole US fighter jets up to around or over 1,000 jets, if the F47 comes on board at 2030 then it’ll be great but we’re still holding out if Boeing can deliver? Hope so if not then Lockheed can continue with their jets they have always delivered!

@大下勇次-i9dHow about developing a "stealthy" version of the F15. ie the F15SEXY 🙂 The same internal architecture yet redesigned surfaces and Engine Intakes etc and using some composite radar absorbent materials. Just a thought bubble.
@richardthart5901So, it was 120 to start then 75 then went back up. The USAF uppers are totally incompetent idiots, same clowns who canceled the E7 only to reinstate it, AFTER Europe dumped it because, well, you can't trust those clowns can you?
@gregoryschmitz2131translation - the F-35 is too small to carry very long range weapons internally ...... so it has to carry them externally and then just becomes a fact and ugly F-16 .....

@brianroberts2402I think the communist Chinese PLA are going to be shocked when they come up against U.S. fighter pilots in air to air combat especially when they’re ejecting from their J-20 stealth fighters who will be quickly shot down by our new F-15 EX fighters
