I believe the KABOOMS are doing much more damage much faster than Russia can cope with. Without enough fuel, even the infrastructure that isn't getting BOOMED will become less and less reliably. Air superiority is key in modern warfare. Technically speaking nobody has air superiority here, but Russia can't put up an effective defense against the ever growing intensity of Ukrainian BOOM drones hitting strategic targets in Russia.

Forget not getting a decent harvest next year, shit goes to hell in a hand basket real fast once trucks can't deliver foodstuff to markets and shop in Moskow anymore... and trucks run on civillian fuel.
