USCIS has announced it will comply with a federal court order vacating certain immigration “hold”

Video Overview & Insights

USCIS has announced it will comply with a federal court order vacating certain immigration “hold” policies that delayed or paused benefit applications and required officers to consider country-specific factors in discretionary decisions. This does not mean every case will be approved, but it may help people whose cases were stuck because of these policies. What a time to be an immigration lawyer! The whiplash is real, and if you’re not on top of your game the tsunami of flip flop policies will pretty much guarantee that you will screw up a client’s case.

Thank you for excellent content.

Does this apply to consular processing? If not, do you think the consular processing ban/pause will soon be lifted?
