In my first 3 games I was doing terrible but once I learned how to use the empowered q properly and ult I managed to go 19/6/18 on my 4th game. I noticed after the first few kills on my laner (yasuo) my dark seal had a massive power spike and I decided I would roam. I noticed that vladimir performs exceptionally well against melee champs. Vlad is a very simple champ to learn but is very hard to master. I now OT vlad and I still struggle against some matchups such as zed and lux sometimes sylas depending on the player. and my advice for someone trying to learn vlad you probably have one of the best lvl 1 Pokes in the game if you play mid against a melee champ like yasuo,yone, mundo, Amumu, mordekaiser. Poke and farm, poke and farm wait until lvl 6 and because no one will have anti heal at that point you can stack q ult Someone then use q and get a massive w,e combo to get them low enough for the missing health damage and should kill them if you play it right. another point is runes. Play electrocute against melee champs and phase rush against ranged. Dark harvest is ok but not recommended unless it’s an aram. cool-down rate is extremely important so you can either go night harvester for cdr or you can go hextech for gap close and damage. I prefer going hextech into sorcerers into cosmic drive then demonic embrace. never let yourself stack gold. Always back otherwise you will fall behind and struggle to get kills. When vlad gets behind he stays behind. Always buy items/ sub items. and when you use your ult try and use it on multiple targets but when your ult is placed focus the tank as it does missing health damage. you can w e into the middle of them and try and damage as much as possible.

I havent watched the entire video yet, but why would one use ignite og vlad. Doesnt that active fall off late? Why would one run an active that is strong early on af champion that does not really have any early pressure?

I am really low elo, and my opponents don't have much comprehension of things like roam timers, or when to reset, or much of anything on wave management/cs. I am also not that great on it, but I understand the theory and am trying to work on it. As such my enemy laner may not stay in lane, even when at high elo they would be stuck there. What should I do when this happens?

So Basically Vlad is bad against any meta champ in 2020 since they are for the most part high mobillity high waveclear

This is prob a problem with my champ pool, but I pretty much only play melee champs midlane. So pushing him in won't work because I will take to much harass. And when I try to all in him he just hits q e w , procs phaserush and is over the seven mountains and just sustains back up with q or he's in my face if i'm low enough.

How to carry as Vladimir: YOU CAN'T, worst mid laner champion ever, gets stomped by every champion in League of Legends, even if you know how to farm with him, Vladimir hasn't a build or effective runes, so he's like Nautilus or Thresh, bad kit, bad items, bad champion.
You want a true mid laner? Go pick Ahri and forget that useless Vladimir.

vlad is so weak at early game , low elo game is fighting 24/7 , vlad cant do anything be4 15min then 4 teammates FF me in 20min ... (sorry my engish bad)

The mentality behind a vlad vs talón matchup is like when anderson Silva goes into MC gregor, you want to farm it UP an in 2 seconds your dead and didnt know what really happened.

Why do you not utilize his w + e combo? (you start charing e, then you press w, and your e keeps charging, so you can burst it when it's max charged while you're still untargettable in w). Also there's a trick at the laning phase: if you're low hp, you can ward raptors if they're present, and heal off them with your Q (empowered Q on raptors heals the same amount as it does on champions). It also works with wolves, but it takes more time.

Plz consider giving runes at the very start of video instead as most peolple looks for runes before the start of the game :p

Im a silver euw player that has a 56% wr with cass with 120 games, imo vlad is much harder to learn and not that intuitive

This video is super helpful for a lot of stuff like when and how to take fights and how to play your wave against midlaners who like to roam a lot (like taliyah and talon) but you never talked about to how to play against champs who would rather farm a lot than roam a lot such as veigar.
