I have nothing useful to add to these comments...
In recent weeks and months, Trump has attempted to highlight issues he sees in Biden's cognitive abilities calling his opponent sleepy, stumbling and not up to the job. To prove he's a stronger fit, Trump has been bragging about his results in a cognitive test (MoCA), so in this video, we took the test to see how hard it is and what it's really meant for.

What the test basically measures is whether an older person who might be developing signs of Alzheimer can still function at the level of a 5- or 6-year old. Seems like Trump can manage that... but anybody who has seen or heard him trying to express the simplest of ideas since about his early 40s probably harbors serious doubts about his true mental capacity.

@PrinceLakeyThe better cognitive test is the NPT for neuropsycological test. It takes all day and includes an hour long interview with a neuropsycologist PhD. It is a whole lot of memory and drawing tests and games. When combined with magnetic resonance imaging of the brain it gives a neurologist some idea of what might be going wrong. The brain and especially the hippocampus shrink with age.

@kayzaza2626This test is used with people who have symptoms of the onset of senile dementia. As such it is a very simple set of questions for those not suffering dementia but is deliberately simple because those who are dementing become confused. Trump is talking about it as though it's a measure of intelligence, and that he's a genius, but those with a low average IQ have no trouble answering these questions. His cognitive ability must be in decline if he is unable to comprehend this fact.
@timcastle1844The designer of the MoCA test said that the test is designed to be easy for anyone with normal cognitive abilities. If a person said that the test was hard then they already have a measure of cognitive decline.

@lynettesmith6971My mother had the same test after we noticed issues with getting lost while driving places she knew and many other signs. The biggest was forgetting names, and where she was and other short term memory issues. I see the same signs in this poor excuse for a candidate. My mother passed last year after a short journey with dementia.
@joandehnert1115The Montreal Cog Test is only a screening test! The real test takes all days and includes many games, tests, drawing exercises m et. As well as a lengthy interview with a trained neuropsycological MD. It is generally called a NPT.
