I have a kitty with inflammatory bowel even after removing poultry. I removed hoofed animals and struggle for any variety. We have rabbit, seafood, kangaroo, and alligator. He snubs most of his foods. Any suggestions as to other proteins I can try? He scoffed rabbit with mouse before as if he could do better on his own. I’m desperate.

Not true at all , all felines need Taurine which occurs naturally in "whole "milk as well as red meat, fish [ tuna] . They will instinctively be drawn to it when you eat a bowl of cereal etc There is no truth today as a great man of God predicted like 4000yrs ago for our modern time See Isa 59 : 15 [Niv] bible . Just get "grass" fed either raw or pasteurized whole milk room temp , ultra pasteurization is no good . Also, cat food is horrific , chemicals by- products etc , just give them good "yellow" tuna fish or red meat and whole milk will be great .

I know this video came out 6 months ago. I am now unable to find any canned cat food that my cat will eat. I am going to try the suggestions here, but I would really like to find a high quality already prepared cat food. I have tried so many at
various prices and she just doesn't want it. ????

I see your packages of Big Country Raw are not labelled as they are here... I have never seen those cans of turkey here but I feed my cats Big country raw, frozen smelts or sadines, quails eggs or fish oil and depending on the package of frozen meat that I purchase, I add chicken hearts and vitamins... I think they eat better than I do.

About three weeks after your video NOT to feed kibble to cats, my poor Sidney started his old habit of vomiting DAILY again. It was extremely sad to see, since there had been noooooo vomiting for SEVERAL years. And since he absolutely does NOT like the canned food you recommend, well, I just now watched AGAIN, as poor Sid threw up. What a HORRIBLE thing to put our fur babies thru. BUT, IT IS WHAT IT IS, AYE DOC ?

@marikaManzari-m9kAfter seeing this video, I introduced First Mate and Kasiks (same company) turkey pates to our rotation. Both cats like them! But, I am seeing online reviews that all say both the First Mate and Kasiks turkey pates are very high in carbs, due to use of potato or pea starch. Ugh!

@rosenoglefamilyfun5267A few years ago our cat who is now more elderly, would leave dead mice in odd places. Once was on black rug in front of kitchen sink, the mouse actually blended in to those colors. Second time found one dead UNDER her litter box. The one in front of the sink I wonder, was she leaving it there to share with us ? All we could do was laugh and pitch it to the tree line.

@rose-hopeMy cat will not eat wet food. Period. He is a rescued stray, about 7 years old. He came to me with Calicivirus, Stomatitis and an ulcer in his mouth. I had to have all his teeth removed except his canines and upper teeth between the upper canines. He still will not eat wet food.

I have been giving my two cats semi raw diet. I blend grounded lean pork (they don't like beef) with multiple chicken organs with the supplements I got from you. One cat poops perfectly fine. Another one just keep pooping softish feces. What do I do?
huh a bit confused about the portion sizes...if 3-3.5 oz for every 3-4 lbs body weight, doesn't it mean you need 9-10 oz for 10 lbs cat?

@judyfranks6832My cats do best when I can feed them hydrated freeze-dried Dr. Marty's food. Once had to keep a cat in the garage due to an injury and I fed him nothing but this for three weeks. His eyes turned from a rusty-red spotted yellow to pure daffodil. Gorgeous. If only I could have afforded to feed them just that, but too expensive. So I supplement with that while feeding them brands like Nulo and Rawz. I did try giving them raw meat, but neither cat wanted to go raw.
Also feed them out of a handmade raised pottery dish (food grade glazes) that has helped the cat who has some joint issues. Water is another company's food-grade pottery bowl with charcoal filter and silver-infused piping.
2-12-2026. BOTH my CATS VOMIT A LOT SINCE NOT GIVING THEM A SNACK OF KIBBLE. BOTH OF MY CATS HATE THE CANNED CATFOOD YOU RECOMMEND. I TRIED IT FOR TWO MONTHS. THEY LOST THEIR PERFECT WEIGHT, PICKED AT IT. DR. JONES, SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT ADDRESSING THESE THINGS, WHEN I HAVE BROUGHT IT UP BEFORE.

@PwussiephartI have a cat who loves dry kibble and i know it is not good for her. I try to give her as little as possible but she has gone as long as 48 hours without eating until I would break down and give her some dry food.. I don't understand why she would prefer dry food over wet. I've tried different brands of canned food and some she likes better than others but she would live on dry food if i would let her. I try buying different gravies and things to enhance her food. I crush kibble and sprinkle it on top of her wet food but it only helps a little, I've also tried things like sardines and tuna. I even made some cat food from scratch. Anyone have any other suggestions. My husband says just don't give it to her but if you had to watch her not eat for two days you would probably cave too.
@blkbrn1952My cat refuses all canned food. She only likes those sleeves. I cant afford tbis! She only eat Purina brand. She likes her kibble wet sometimes. Shes ectremely picky and half feral. Shes difficult in every way.
