@fizzakhan901This example in the video is not fully correct.
You showed 5 people investing Rs. 1000 each (AUM = 5000, NAV = 1000) and then Person 6 invests Rs. 500 to get 0.5 units — which is right.
But after Person 6 invests, the total AUM should become Rs. 5500 and total units should become 5.5.
The video keeps AUM = 5000 and units = 5, which is incorrect.
AUM always increases when a new investor adds money, and total units must also increase.
Unit price (NAV) stays the same, but AUM and units cannot stay unchanged.
Just sharing this to help improve the example.🙂
