Where did we come from? Why are we here on earth? And where do we go after we die? We’ve all asked these questions hoping to discover the purpose of life. Mormons—more properly referred to as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—believe that God has a plan for us. It’s called the plan of salvation, and it contains the answers to life’s questions. Jesus Christ is the central figure in God’s plan.

Before we were born on earth, we lived as spirit children of our Heavenly Father. He sent us to earth to receive a physical body and to learn and grow through life’s experiences. God wants us to learn to do good and follow His Son, Jesus Christ. One way we show our love for God is by obeying His commandments.
Of course, God knew we would make mistakes. As part of the plan of salvation, Jesus Christ would be born on earth. He would teach us, establish His Church, and suffer and die for our sins. Because He suffered all things, He can provide us relief from our sorrows and sufferings. Jesus Christ’s sacrifice enables us to repent and be forgiven of our sins and mistakes.
If we r all children of God, why need a plan of salvation. No we r all creation of God, not all children of God. LIE

I would like to dwell in the houese of the Lord forver with God and jesus and families and the Prophets and people in the gospel that would be awesome. I am a newer member of the church as of 06/29/2029 and sometimes struggle with things that i used to have really bad addictions too. I try to do good and want to do good always and not be like my past but my mental health sometimes messes with me a lot and my head messes with me. I try to live a better life. Heavenly Father i am going to turn my life around and do better for i will never stop trying to do better even when i stumble please forgive me and know that i do try to repent of my sins Lord. Thank you Lord jesus in the name of jesus christ amen

@AbdulKarimSesay-r9gI am a lifetime member of the LDS Church. I however, have come to the conclusion after much study and seeking to understand God's plan of happiness for us that this Plan of Salvation as preached by the LDS faith is not completely correct.
The problem begins with the main idea presented that God created all mankind to be free and happy and to experience a fullness of joy. What Mormons or their leaders fail to understand is that the joy or the amount of joy one wishes to experiences is not necessary the same for all.
The LDS Church teaches that there are three kingdoms in Heaven and that the highest, the celestial kingdom is only reserved for God's most righteous children. I have come to believe that this is an over simplification of Heaven and it's various degrees of glory.
LDS teachings claim that the degree of glory obtained in Heaven is predicated upon various acts of obedience performed during our lives here on earth. This is not entirely true.
The truth is that our level of glory or happiness is actually determined by our capacity and desire for such. Not everyone is going to want or even have the same level of interest to learn or do all that God has available for us to achieve.
And God knows this! He has always known this even before we were created or organized as His spiritual offspring. His will is for each of us to obtain whatever heights or glories we ultimately wish to achieve. Not everyone needs to be in the highest degree of glory to receive their maximum amount of desired happiness.
This is key. Every spirit has their own level of maximum happiness. Life on earth is just one of the many processes we all go through to determine what that level is going to be?
So no, it's not all about judgement, punishment and rewards, being told where to go based on those judgements, punishments and rewards we earn from our lifetime of making and learning from our mistakes. It's not even really about our mistakes. No, it's totally and completely about learning who we really are and what we really want to be?
God in His Wisdom has made a place for everyone despite all our individual differences and desires we each possess. What is the real plan is that everyone will have the opportunity to find their own place in heaven and be totally content within it!

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The Apostle Peter, in the book of Acts, went on to use the keys to the kingdom of heaven, as the plan of salvation for everyone, for all time, and every creature. Peter says this in, Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of “Jesus Christ” for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Of course, some would not receive his word, even as there are today.
Peter as the chief spokesman for the Apostles, established the plan of salvation for the Jews, the Samaritans, and the Gentiles, To the Jews in the 2nd chapter of Acts, verses 38 and 39, and he gave it to the Samaritans in the 8th chapter, and then to the Gentiles in the 10th chapter of Acts. In the 10th chapter of Acts, we read this, Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. Notice, how the Jews knew that the Gentiles had received the Holy Ghost, they heard them speaking in tongues. In, Act 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Unknown tongues is the sign of the Holy Ghost. When we receive the Holy Ghost, we know we have received it in the same way they knew they had received it, because the Spirit of Christ always speaks in an Unknown tongue as a confirmation from God that a person has received the Holy Ghost. It is also a prayer language for an individual when the Holy Ghost prays for us.

@z163r3Wait what, where does the bible say we were spiritual children? The bible clearly tells us how man was created. And Adam was the first human being created out of the ground of the earth, not once does the bible say we were spiritual children.
@natashamarume2563So as a born again believer - If I am right then LDS members will go to hell as they have believed the lies of Joseph Smith. If the LDS church is correct then I go to a heaven anyway. So why would anyone want to become a Mormon in the first place?

@tamatoafilianga618I was balling my eyes out while watching this video I don’t know why but it was a wonderful reminder of why my heavenly loves me and each and everyone of us but as I was watching this video, my little sister who recently got baptised told me that she wouldn’t make it to heaven, in these exact words she said “I believe in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father but I don’t go to church and I don’t say my prayer or read my scriptures” I felt the spirit tell me, teach her what to do. So I’ve decided that from this day onwards both me and her will both read a scripture verse and say our prayers together❤

No where in the bible says something like this. The bible says in Hebrew 9:27 " And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."

My second question: my brother died before me, if I die before the Lord’s time, am I allowed to ask God to be with my brother in which kingdom he resides once the resurrection comes?
