Do real Venetians get dressed and go out, or just tourists? Sometimes I wonder if Venice is a crowded European theme park that only tourists want to stay in.

@ramjivansardar3028I know frittelle with apples, too. Galani (also called chiacchiere or cenci or frappe) are typical Carnival sweets too. - The problem with Venice is to find good restaurants, the ones at and around the typical tourist spots usually all serve junk, and they're also expensive. My husband and I found a few good ones through the years, but they're more hidden.
