I have experimented with a drop spindle.....it's not as easy as it may sound.....I also own a cardigan made of very fine alpaca wool....it is a fantastic garment. @ApersonAnimalI don't believe you have ever claimed to be a knight because you're a farmer but I think you believe you were a knight back in the day. A farmer would not be so comfy yarning away in chain mail surrounded by broad swords, halyards et al.
