Simple, it’s because Real Madrid is a brand. Players who are great but have no name recognition to sell jerseys will never get a call to play for Madrid anymore. Instead of investing in young talent they just buy them in their prime

Actually for many players it's difficult to change from the 2nd to the first team. Even if the 2nd team is in the 2nd tier. I think a difference between Real Madrid and other clubs is that other clubs often put players that don't make this leap immediately on loan, while Real Madrid just sells them.
