I’m Florida, was raised there ABs wanted to travel. I ended up being forced to though when I married into the military. Now that I’m back, I hate it here. This video is literally the final sign. My wife and I will be there within the next six weeks. We’d be over the moon for someone to show us around. Between this and being described elsewhere as “the friend that’s trying too hard”, I’m sold. Why is it a competition as to who can care less here?

Loved this video. My brother is a former Cleveland Ohio resident who moved to Florida. I also moved from Ohio to Florida eight years ago. Ohio will always be home but we moved strictly for the weather. Summer is the only season I like. Florida is very expensive but I guess that’s the price of living in the warmth. In all honesty, if Cleveland had the same climate as Florida, I would’ve never moved. The ONLY part of this video that pissed me off was at 11:09! Must be nice to sit around during a snow storm with some damn coffee. Meanwhile in my “reality” world I have to be outside in that crap ice scraping my windows and crawling through the passenger side door at 5:30 AM due to the driver’s side door being frozen shut. Never had that luxury to just sit around looking at the snow when I have a JOB and have to drive in that crap.

My wife and I are from Florida. We moved here 12 years ago. We currently own a home in South Euclid. Sometimes we miss Florida. Fall is beautiful but it's kinda disappointing to see the sunmers end so quickly. Winters are a little too long and it's not that fun. It's affordable though. Thankfully we dont have kids because I definitely wouldn't want to send them to the public schools in this area. I wish we could afford to buy another home in a better area but can't afford to sell and buy another home. Life is good though. We cant complain all that much. Florida has plenty of drawbacks that some people just seem to try to ignore or just dont want to talk about.

I can tell you for sure, people who can afford to stay in Florida are in no way looking to move to Cleveland Ohio. Sure, Florida is expensive but that's what the cost of sunshine and no snow is these days. I'm a Chicago native and I would move there before Cleveland. Sure, f someone had a job, family or something that would be a logical reason to move to the area then that's one thing, but to move to Cleveland just because they want to is another. The cold and the snow are huge factors. I'll take the high cost of living to be warm thanks!
