As a Mexican i don’t really see a problem like other people cry about , the increase of rents and prices are landlords and restaurateurs greed , they move to upper middle class zones ,they are not moving in to poor people ones ,therefore not affecting them, they may not pay income tax, but do pay taxes in everything else they purchase every day ,they dont use the free Mexican health or education system ,they are like long term tourist generating income for locals. Most of them dont drive so don’t even cause traffic 😂, complaining about them makes us as dumb as the maga ones in the usa …c mom people! Im sure there will be a few bad ones but the fact that they move here is not just economical,like would you move to a shitty neighbourhood just To save few dollars? Obviously they are “ Mexico friendly” they are not maga ,and who knows some may even have kids here and give Mexico few more citizens or just stay permanently ,and like the vast majority of immigrants will contribute to the host country.

Stop lying about using the word "expatriats"; they are inmigrants (americans and canadians and othrer foreigners).I wonder what their inmigrant status is.I also would like the government to have them paid taxes the same way the u.s.a. have mexicans (living legally and illegally U.S.A.) declare taxes.Unfonturnantly these phenomenum is expulsing the mexicans move to another city zones.These inmigrants say that it is life is cheap here compare to the one of their countries.They are right because their money values more than tne mexican money (peso).Other wlse they would not move to our country because the EuropeanAmericans do not really like Mexicans.Instituto de Migracion de Mexico go and inspect all of these inmigrants and if they are living illegally,send then back to their countries (deport them) as well as ICE is doing to inmigrants )mexicans and from diferent national origen)!

Expats are welcome in Mexico! They do by far more good than bad. What makes America the greatest country on earth is truly their diversity. Mexico needs diversity and it’s finally getting it! So come on down while it’s still warm affordable!
