A concept that helped me win way more games as support, especially if my ADC isn't very good, is learning how and when to roam. Pushing the wave out before objectives spawn and hovering mid has netted me a countless number of ganks and plays. Bonus tip is recalling if you see your adc pushing the wave in, staying in exp range, boosting your tempo by 5-10 seconds more.

21:56 I assume this is for when you are trying to FARM, because the video is about farming, and not taking a 1v1 defender on pushing a second turret with unknown jungle is by itself obviously a good choice, not taking other 1v1s and focusing on FARMING gives me the impression that one of the main topics of the video that REMAIN this far into the video is HOW TO CATCH UP (by focusing farming and also being useful to your team)

Mate of mine who reached Challenger in 2 seasons told me this:
Pick out 1 thing you want to improve. Then over a few games focus ONLY on improving that thing and play like usual for everything else.
When that thing becomes second nature switch to the next. After doing this for a while you might need to revist stuff youve already improved before, but focus on your weakness or what you actually want to improve because not playing also means not improving.

Biggest boost was studying first purchase items. Knowing which items work best for each champ you use is key to making the early game strong. I also mix this with using the champs combo properly and knowing info about the champ youβre fighting against. Using an ability at the right time with the right item seemed to give me the biggest boost.

Was stuck gold\plat every season. Biggest boost to hit emerald 2 a couple seasons in a row was focusing gold/Xp and not kills.

Biggest thing I learned is that Lux is WAYY better soloing mid lane, fight out of your dead time and don't farm until the 20-minute mark. Also not worrying about your mana is a huge difference maker. I was trying to hard to sustain my mana. I just use it all by the time I get to their first turret and bada bing bada boom I get an ACE every time off pokes

@jingizbiggest boost was learning how to properly match recall times and also using recall to get stat adv after crashing then letting wave bounce back to freeze with item adv

I go go sidelane to farm and come back into the game and drag enemys on me so my team can get kills becaus of numbers advantage.
So i will just always sidelane right?π
why do you mean by AFK farm?
@mikechapman2283Question: what can I do as support when my teammates are not playing around lanes? It's really frustrating watching wave after wave die to tower while playing someone like Janna, who both can't and doesn't really want to take time collecting the money.

@SiodogRehaneNot from this video, but I did learn it from Skill Capped: basic Macro split pushing. My ADC and I took one look at that video and started picking up all the abandoned minion waves across the map in Iron III. Won five games in a row in Duo Queue without breaking a sweat, only losing when we ran into smurfs later into the night.
@TheGuiltyPillowthe dead time thing feels more about the loss of tempo which drastically impacts your game more than the gold thing like sure it was a risk to take for the jungler part but he denied alot of gold and got alot more and still gets his camps but the gold per second is offset so in turn its loss because of the tempo

There are basically 4 outcomes that can come with invading the raptors:
- Karthus takes raptors
- Karthus takes raptors and Taliah
- Taliah takes raptors
- Taliah takes raptors and Karthus
(ofc it's possible they kill eachother, but let's not count this situation)
And let's assume all outcomes are just as likely (however lets be honest, Karthus has an insane advantage cuz trist is 80% hp with almost full mana and lane prio, while Kassadin is half health and 15-20% mana LEVEL 5.
If he doesn't decide on the invade, they both go equally in gold as I assume, Tali has her golems up.
- In case the outcome number 1 happens, he's up 240 gold (his jungle + raptors - Tali taking golems in this time)
- In case the outcome number 2 happens, he's up 780 gold (raptors, golems, kill and his jungle) OR 620 gold (raptors, kill and his jungle) AND dragon
- In case the outcome number 3 happens, he's down around 30s of his time, which might or might not be negated in the future
- In case the outcome number 4 happens, he's 300 gold and around 45s (15 for going for the invade and then 30 for dying) but, what's important - Taliah still cannot go for the drake nor for his jungle, because her support is 40% hp and 30% mana, probably recalling while this thing is happening, the ADC is hitting the minions under his turret and Karthus' bot should be walking out of the base while this whole situation is happening and scouting gromp / wolves is quick enough. Same with midlane, Trist just shoved the wave and Kassadin has to hug the turret, while she's free to cover drake. That's assuming she wouldnt instantly trade kill this Taliah, which would most likely happen.
Dont get me wrong, if both bot and mid lane states were around even, this would have been a risky and pretty stupid play, but in this example, it was a calculated risk with "huge upside potential and very little downside risk" to quote The Wolf of Wall Street.
Watching these videos remind me on why i only play ARAM - I love league but i dont got that time, skill, mental resources to allocate to really getting good =( - Getting older and the crushing reality of life =( - I miss those old gaming days

@Jofond1Biggest boost for me as a supp main was pathing mid after recall. The influence you can determine on the map with just one click was a game changer.

@TheTraderTemplar7:50 that's why if I took mad time to risk gold, and lost tempo, and usually think to ward void or drag or start taking them to give away their chances of even getting any gold. When I steal camps I do it to disrupt the enemy, but I see now how disrupting them can set them up to do something that may help their team

@drfresh5438The math is incorrect at 26 minutes. It should be 23% more powerful. Unless I am missing something but I can't see where you got 16% from.

@ipady6929My biggest win rate boost was stop lasthitting and start clearing the waves as fast as possible, from the first wave of the game. Now it makes sense why this works

@Tecnodoc32Great video. Still couldnt farm for shizz because I panic while I have 2+ minions low at the same time, or when an enemy engages while im farming, or while Im getting ping'd non stop by other people.
So ye, uninstalled... hope ppl arent as bad at the game as me.
