I guess it could just be age, she really was a lot prettier before wicked. Dont want to say mean things over the internet. It just seems like she needs to put on 15 or 20lbs. Her face changed a lot within like 1 year. Its gaunt. Which totally could just be age. After a certain point we lose that baby fat in our face.

Shes still very pretty. However she wants to be. I think if she gained a bit of weight shed look better.

i am very glad for ariana grande that she got this role, because i know it has always been her dream. i just feel like there is something weird about this whole thing.

I guess I’m in the minority, I’ve studied acting in depth, and I thought Cynthia was an incredible choice and embodied the role perfectly…beyond incredible really! She really made the movie. Ariana has incredible vocals, but she did not embody Glinda, but her star power brought money and seats. I know how badly she wanted it but I feel like there could’ve been a better casting choice if money was taken out of the equation. I know she worked really hard and trained, but it was very “art of representational acting”, and missed the mark. I’m not invested although I do enjoy the franchise and have read the book and watched the play on Broadway. I don’t listen to or watch Ariana on any other things so I didn’t have any bias, she is an incredibly talented singer, I just don’t think she did justice to this role IMO.
