You assume a lot, especially with the US. They have started to fall apart, and it will probably keep going more and more. They'll probably stays within the top 10 for the next 100 years, but every "empire" have their decline and fall. US won't be an exception. The USD is already losing ground on the international, and the debt of that country is just insane. People will just eventually lose trust in the USD, which will make the dollars decrease in value, thus the GPD will drop drastically. We are seeing the begining of that. Trump is just pushing things faster into that direction.

Pushing the claim that China is bound for economic dominance isn't a serious financial take anymore—it's just a talking point meant to distract from their reality.
