This video, like all of your videos, was super informative and approachable. I appreciate your effort to make as many formats as possible as accessible as possible.

Framing competitive magic as a chance to watch yourself improve is what so many people need to hear! Winning is secondary, the main challenge is learning how to improve yourself as a brewer, a pilot, and a member of the community.

I appreciated a lot of the practical advice. Figuring out how long a tournament will be is always one of my biggest anxieties.

As a new player exploring MTG (started watching Tolarian Community College commander vids, after I had a video pop up on my recommended and fell down the rabbit hole, which is also how I found you!) The four videos I have watched of yours have taught me a lot and reminded me of terms from my old tcg days. They are digestible troves of information that I will be referring back to a lot I can already tell. While it may be a while before I look at comp, I do have starter decks on the way and arena at my disposal for now to learn and develop along side these well put together and great videos. So truly thank you! Subbed and notifs on!

I wish someone had explained these topics to me so clearly and effectively when I was starting out. Instead, I had to pick up some of these details over a much longer period of time, especially because a lot of online MtG content (whether articles, blogs, or event coverage) seems to skew towards enfranchised players, and often those who've been around the competitive scene for long enough to (perhaps) forget how much they had to learn in the beginning. I hope this video series helps bring in many newer players who are interested in competing but may have been unsure where to begin or perhaps felt overwhelmed by how much the "old hands" seem to already know and think is common knowledge. You are doing very valuable work for the community.
