I pay for Premium and doubt that I’ll revert back. YT is becoming my main channel. No more BBC, ITV and the other rubbish terrestrial channels. IF they reduce the monthly subscription I believe they'd gain more subscribers.

not worth it for several reasons from a creators point of view Most people are cheap and wont pay $11.99 per month I am monetized but currently no ads are being displayed on my videos with exception of one or two for algo rhythm reasons so why would anyone pay when they can watch my videos ad free without a subscription In addition i have a paypal link on my videos in case people want to be generous but to date i have yet to recieve a dime And lastly i run the risk of losing a substancial amout of views on my short videos which are avg 500 to 2k in views as opposed to 10 views i get posting long videos You tell me

no one ever mentions that, if you download a YT vid and that channel gets cancelled, you can't watch the vid you downloaded or any other vid you downloaded from that channel.

I only watch YouTube twice or trice a month so, paying 14 dollars a month is a bit expensive.

@tondoosuuweeta2442Big time YouTube user for many years. I HATE the ads! Can't believe I didn't look into it before. Especially since I was paying 12 dollars for Pandora alone. In addition, I have 5 people in the house hold so I can get my subscription for $4.50! And also get the music? Again, music I was already paying $12.00 for? As an older guy, I can't be wasting time, 😂 with ads. I can kick myself for not getting it years ago.

On top they stated USD23/month, but once you subscribed it became USD33 /month.

I hope they do not bury me with ads . If you go to read what is going to happen it would take weeks to read and a lawyer to explain it . We will see if I continue
