Things are better for Mexicans when the government does not fight the cartels and allows them to operate with impunity. The cartels are mostly just normal people trying to make money, and the fighting is almost always just territorial beefs between cartels. It's not like Islamic groups that just target random people. But then when the Mexican government targets them, that is when you get the burned cities etc. This is a huge problem, because people say "Mexican officials are all just corrupt, that's why they don't do anything" but that's not exactly true. A lot of them are corrupt, but a lot of them aren't... The problem is that those officials who are NOT corrupt often decide not to do anything either because they don't want to see their city burned, which will certainly jeopardize their election. It's a pretty clever strategy from the Cartels when you think about it — "if they target us, destroy the entire city"

The dancing man.... we had one here in Chicago, any time me or my fam would drive by the corner of these two main streets, at the corner of a big grocery store, was a man dancing but with rollerblades, I probably took a video of him at some point when I first saw him, but this was about 17 years ago, but we continued seeing him there for many years, at first I'd see him there any time I would pass by with the car, which was often since i went to that grocery store often, then as years passed less and less, until i never saw him again.
I wonder what happened to him and if he also had mental problems or was just trying to show off his dancing skills on roller blades ⛸️ 🕺

I’m from Waukesha and lived just one or two miles from downtown where the parade partook. Daryl brooks has broken our community big and small, and we all prayed on his downfall. This could have been so avoided if they only treated criminals like criminals.
