Surah Ar-Rahman

55.1 The Beneficent Ar-Raĥmānu

55.2 Hath made known the Qur´an. `Allama Al-Qur'āna

55.3 He hath created man. Khalaqa Al-'Insāna

55.4 He hath taught him utterance. `Allamahu Al-Bayāna

55.5 The sun and the moon are made punctual. Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Biĥusbānin

55.6 The stars and the trees prostrate. Wa An-Najmu Wa Ash-Shajaru Yasjudāni

55.7 And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, Wa As-Samā'a Rafa`ahā Wa Wađa`a Al-Mīzāna

55.8 That ye exceed not the measure, 'Allā Taţghaw Fī Al-Mīzāni

55.9 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. Wa 'Aqīmū Al-Wazna Bil-Qisţi Wa Lā Tukhsirū Al-Mīzāna

55.10 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, Wa Al-'Arđa Wađa`ahā Lil'anāmi

55.11 Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, Fīhā Fākihatun Wa An-Nakhlu Dhātu Al-'Akmāmi

55.12 Husked grain and scented herb. Wa Al-Ĥabbu Dhū Al-`Aşfi Wa Ar-Rayĥānu

55.13 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.14 He created man of clay like the potter´s, Khalaqa Al-'Insāna Min Şalşālin Kālfakhkhāri

55.15 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. Wa Khalaqa Al-Jānna Min Mārijin Min Nārin

55.16 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.17 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! Rabbu Al-Mashriqayni Wa Rabbu Al-Maghribayni

55.18 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.19 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. Maraja Al-Baĥrayni Yaltaqiyāni

55.20 There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). Baynahumā Barzakhun Lā Yabghiyāni

55.21 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.22 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. Yakhruju Minhumā Al-Lu'ulu'uu Wa Al-Marjānu

55.23 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.24 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. Wa Lahu Al-Jawāri Al-Munsha'ātu Fī Al-Baĥri Kāl'a`lāmi

55.25 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.26 Everyone that is thereon will pass away; Kullu Man `Alayhā Fānin

55.27 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. Wa Yabqá Wajhu Rabbika Dhū Al-Jalāli Wa Al-'Ikrāmi

55.28 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.29 All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power. Yas'aluhu Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Kulla Yawmin Huwa Fī Sha'nin

55.30 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.31 We shall dispose of you, O ye two dependents (man and jinn). Sanafrughu Lakum 'Ayyuhā Ath-Thaqalāni

55.32 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.33 O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction. Yā Ma`shara Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi 'Ini Astaţa`tum 'An Tanfudhū Min 'Aqţāri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Fānfudhū Lā Tanfudhūna 'Illā Bisulţānin

55.34 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.35 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. Yursalu `Alaykumā Shuwāžun Min Nārin Wa Nuĥāsun Falā Tantaşirāni

55.36 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.37 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - Fa'idhā Anshaqqati As-Samā'u Fakānat Wardatan Kālddihāni

55.38 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.39 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. Fayawma'idhin Lā Yus'alu `An Dhanbihi 'Insun Wa Lā Jānnun

55.40 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.41 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. Yu`rafu Al-Mujrimūna Bisīmāhum Fayu'ukhadhu Bin-Nawāşī Wa Al-'Aqdāmi

55.42 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.43 This is hell which the guilty deny. Hadhihi Jahannamu Allatī Yukadhibu Bihā Al-Mujrimūna

55.44 They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water. Yaţūfūna Baynahā Wa Bayna Ĥamīmin 'Ānin

55.45 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.46 But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. Wa Liman Khāfa Maqāma Rabbihi Jannatāni

55.47 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.48 Of spreading branches. Dhawātā 'Afnānin

55.49 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.50 Wherein are two fountains flowing. Fīhimā `Aynāni Tajriyāni

55.51 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.52 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. Fīhimā Min Kulli Fākihatin Zawjāni

55.53 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.54 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. Muttaki'īna `Alá Furushin Baţā'inuhā Min 'Istabraqin Wa Janá Al-Jannatayni Dānin

55.55 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.56 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. Fīhinna Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun

55.57 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.58 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. Ka'annahunna Al-Yāqūtu Wa Al-Marjānu

55.59 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.60 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? Hal Jazā'u Al-'Iĥsāni 'Illā Al-'Iĥsānu

55.61 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.62 And beside them are two other gardens, Wa Min Dūnihimā Jannatāni

55.63 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.64 Dark green with foliage. Mud/hāmmatāni

55.65 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.66 Wherein are two abundant springs. Fīhimā `Aynāni Nađđākhatāni

55.67 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.68 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. Fīhimā Fākihatun Wa Nakhlun Wa Rummānun

55.69 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.70 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - Fīhinna Khayrātun Ĥisānun

55.71 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.72 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - Ĥūrun Maqşūrātun Fī Al-Khiyāmi

55.73 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.74 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun

55.75 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.76 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. Muttaki'īna `Alá Rafrafin Khuđrin Wa `Abqarīyin Ĥisānin

55.77 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

55.78 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! Tabāraka Asmu Rabbika Dhī Al-Jalāli Wa Al-'Ikrāmi
