I own chickens and ducks and get duck eggs frequently
@giancarloberlingeri3825We have ducks, chickens and Gunnea fowl. Ducks eggs daily are unbeatable, and in the summer, the Gunnea fowl eggs are also great. If you can have these amazing birds in your backyard, I highly recommend them. We have Cayuga and Ancona ducks, great layers. All they need is a small kiddy pool with fresh water daily and some foraging space with some duck feed as a supplement. I’ll never go without them. 🦆
@praisethelord4222i have 4 ducks at home and never eaten the eggs since i heard you have to be careful with them they need to be cooked very good. so this is basically BS yes? you can eat those the same as chicken eggs. no more salmonella etc?
@joefarmer7727May I ask, is it safe to eat duck eggs if you have eczema?

@jvg3fionaVery well put in quite refreshing I completely agree with you
@AlanClapp2Duck eggs make beautiful cakes, especially sponges and give a richer deep yellow color. Another thing, there is no need to separate the yoke from the white when making sponges.

@slowmotionradio73I raise my own ducks, I eat lots of duck eggs, but I can't stand ANY egg over easy, I can only eat scrambled or hard boiled. (got sick on runny yolk eggs as a child, so it is what it is)
@GrantStreetGarden-GabrielleI'm about to eat duck eggs for the first time tonight
@LN-LiferOk, but what about Turkey eggs?
I raise Duck, chicken, and Turkey's.
Would I be able to eat pastured raised eggs every day for psoriasis if my everlywell test said I don't have a food sensitivity to eggs?
@tylerolbrich9785I am allergic to chicken eggs and found out I am not allergic to duck eggs. I am living my dream now raising chickens and ducks on a little over an acre in rural Nevada. I love it. And I love being able to go collect eggs every morning and make my breakfast from freshly laid eggs that my girls gifted me. It's the best experience!
@plsdontgiveupHonestly I switched to ducks eggs because it is easier to upkeep ducks than chickens, they require cheaper feed to lay, their meat is better, they produce feathers you can use in your pillows and i have done that, very soft and comfy, they do not cross fences and dig in your garden, they are crazy for slugs who devastate my crops, their fertilizer is way better and less burning than chicken one, and their eggs, are simply better..... I like the taste more , end of the story, idc how healthy or unhealthy egg would be as long as it tastes good, ima eat it.
I sell duck eggs legally and i am under vet supervision, funny enough they don't even test ducks for salmonella, as they do not have it... idk why, duck meat is also safer to eat medium rare, no salmonella threat. Ducks are simply more resistant against viruses and bacteria, they rarely get sick, immune systems are very hardy.
They also lay longer than chickens, up to 7 years , ofc they require different methods of upkeep, like small bath tub for them to stay clean, separate water to drink from dripplet system so it will stay clean, and food in water, never dry food by itself, in short, lot of water is needed, in order for them to eat properly and have their beaks and noses clean. But once you do few adjustments it is as easy or if not easier than chickens.
I’ve researched this comparison of chicken eggs to duck eggs for 4 years beginning in late 2018. You are 100% correct in your analysis. I built a large chicken hole se and fenced 2.5 acres for my hens to free range and the science guided me to duck eggs . I revamped my chicken house to accommodate ducks and now have 23 Ancona ducks. They are eager foragers , gentle and lay on average 210 to 250 eggs annually and lay well past 5 to 6 years. Healthier and more disease resistant than chickens, thanks for your scientific assessment.
@dr.w.w.daniels7203I eat duck eggs with chicken eggs almost every day. I now also drink raw A2 milk with a slice of homemade sourdough bread! I feel great!!!!😊I get my eggs from a local farmer…
@shanefinley9798I'm about to blow your minds here. Duck eggs are twice as nutritious, because... they're twice the size.
@MCPAN211“Quail eggs are cool but they’re too small. I ain’t got time for that” 😂😂
