Let’s be real here guys. This is impressive but…it’s a magic trick. What people fail to mention is…this car has no safety regulations, no airbags, no crumple zones, extremely small, no cargo area, probably no AC. It’s essentially a body with an engine.
And I haven’t seen this car go more than 100 miles. It may get 100 miles per gallon but can it even travel 100 miles? If you were to sell this to the masses no one would buy it. Impressive yes…but still doesn’t solve anything.

This is exactly who i would want to be our president. Charismatic, a business man inventor and completely anti government. Dude Casey make a run. You wont win because the system is rigged but at least your name will be out there.

What you’ve accomplished is fantastic, and you deserve the recognition you aren’t getting.
With that said, here are a few things I observed while watching your videos:
1. The car seems to drive rough. If you compare the interior video while driving to the same one in a Corvette, the Corvette looks noticeably smoother.
2. No airbags? One accident could be fatal.
3. No air conditioning?
4. No sound insulation.
Overall, the car feels like a stripped-down version—lighter, with features removed to maximize fuel efficiency. There’s nothing wrong with that if it’s what you’re going for, but I honestly don’t think most people would enjoy driving it. I know I wouldn’t.

When Volkswagen got into trouble with emissions regulations for diesel cars and were made to stop selling them, it was a massive red flag. Those cars were getting between 50-60 mpg and the industry and government didn't like that. Easy enough to see the BS. Have a buddy that has a VW diesel and loves it. Would love to see your car make it on the market but we all know how this government runs.

We like your videos. But we are wondering, why were you were testing with The Dodge Viper. Why the omega were you starting off in second gear to do the zero60 test when you drive around and it shows you have four speed we didn’t understand that.

You had me at a diesel car. I agree with better MPG but I can sit down low in a 2 seater. My Chevy Express gets 15 mpg. That really sucks but I love the room in it

What kinda turbo diesel engine?

Nice effort with some clever one off engineering & innovations but not a car that very many would want to live with even if you could somehow meet FMVSS and EPA regulations.

When lighter weight EV solutions such as solid state batteries reach the market in a few years then you may be able to really create something lightweight, affordable and fun to drive yet civilized like the old BMW 2002

Casey, I am a 3rd year mechanical engineer at university of central Florida (I am willing to move). I am in live with this idea you have of a startup company, and concepts like yours have coincidentally been ideas of mine and in my dreams since a kid, I just haven’t gotten to the point of life to build those dreams yet. I would love to work in this startup. Consider this my application.

I was enjoying this until the snarkiness kicked in, and that forced me to be a bit more analytical about what you're claiming to do here.

Ok, so "we build cars badly", and you didn't. Fine, now make it more real because this kit car can't be sold to the public as it sits. Add in about 200lbs of wiring for all the systems that a real road car needs to operate. Another 300lbs worth of sound dampening material, a couple of airbags, ABS braking system, seats that are more than cushions screwed to interior panels, because they will need to move and adjust, safety systems and you're at what.... Probably 700-800lbs more weight you need to add before addressing the tires that need to be wider than bicycle tires to be safe and there no way you're hitting 0-60 in under 6 seconds or getting anywhere near 100mpg. So back to the drawing board because you've built a car badly, to use your words.

Also, do you think you can meet crash standards with that frame and body? Mmmmm, probably not, so you'll be adding even more weight that I can't begin to guess properly. Does it have air conditioning? Heat? Oh and the 5 gallon fuel tank? They won't be acceptable, especially because a super high mpg car should have overall better range than 500 miles.

This isn't yet a car, it's a diesel powered soapbox racer. I think it's a bit soon to be so cocky.

Keep in mind, people want a car that can do what you claim, but nobody... Not one of us cares about your politics. Keep that garbage out of it entirely.

Positioning of the gear stick is way off for me a European that drives Manual 40yrs so far...
